Mitch removed a fiberglass tub enclosure and replaced it with a tile walk-in shower. I am very pleased with the new shower and that the project was completed as promised. I was also very thankful for the respect that Mitch showed to my home and family.I will definitely recommend Safe & Sound Plumbing to my friends and neighbors..

We live in a 1950 era cinder block house. Main bathroom had an old tub that no one used so we decided to replace it with a shower. We got several bids and Mitch was about a third less than the others. He helped us select the actual materials fromHome Depot and it is all quality stuff. Mitch worked hard, worked long days and did a really bang up job! He is a very pleasant person to have in your home - the shower is beautiful and we would certainly hire him again.

I got proposals from 4 plumbing companies, and decided to go with Safe and Sound because Mitch Hanick (the plumber) itemized so I would know how much each item and labor cost, and also his price was the most reasonable. He replaced the kitchen faucet, replaced a leaking shutoff valve to the backyard outside pipes, and replaced 4 old irrigation valves outside. He even knew how to wire the irrigation valves so they would work automatically. He left each work site very clean, -- much appreciated since I am disabled and cleaning up is difficult for me. He had to use the side gate, and he remembered to latch it and put the brick against it. as he found it. Mitch has a very pleasant personality and is very communicative. I also liked that I was able to reach him and discuss things with him by email. I definitely plan to use his service again when I need plumbing repairs, and I've already recommended him to a friend.

In the early 1950's my father built our cinder block house in Arbuckle, California. He and his father laid every brick, plumbed every sink and tub; and made things to last. Then in December of 2015 my 93 year old mother (now widowed) told us she was having trouble stepping over the tub to take a shower (she lives alone), We thought all we could afford was one of those jobs where they cut a gap in the bathtub and use the existing shower; they estimated $3,000. When we called Mitch he took the time to drove to Arbuckle and look at the project. The cast iron tub had been solid for 60 years and to replace it with a nice shower unit would involve some serious demolition and inventive construction. Much to our surprise, Mitch said he could do the job for about the same price as the makeshift quick fix. Mitch helped us decide just how we wanted the new shower, how many shower heads (two) and where to attach the safety grab bars. Mitch then amazed us with his energy and the quality of his work. It was a pleasure to have him in our home.. We're customers for life!
