Titan Builders did a fantastic job on our home! We absolutely love it! We have received so many compliments from our guests and even have had some family do some projects at their homes as well. We started out with our backyard -- we originally just had a huge dirt hill and it was always a horrible mess on the side of the house especially when it rained. So Titan leveled out the only about 60% of the hill, pushed back most the dirt with a retaining wall with cinder blocks, added some stairs, and created a stand for the water heater so it wouldn't be sitting on ground level just in case it ever ended up flooding. That being said, we added a draining system near the family room on the below level and the upper level by our kitchen. For safety reasons, we added a fence around our A/C unit due to our dogs and child. Since we did that, we decided to add an entrance on the garage side of the backyard for easier access and a rod iron fence on the opposite side. On the upper part of the backyard, we decided to keep a dirt patch (about 10% of the original backyard and keep it for the dogs and to plant a few little trees. We also incorporated a side planter for our roses and little square portions along the retaining wall (ground level) for our tomatoes and chilies. On the upstairs portion, we had a BBQ installed and a fire pit. They are simply amazing!! For entertaining they are a huge hit on the cold nights where you can cozy on up to the fire pit or have a fantastic BBQ going with friends and family. Along the uneven portion of the hill, we planted flowers and plants that don't take much watering to conserve water and to make our backyard look welcoming and beautiful. Titan then suggested that we add a sprinkler system, so we added one that has a timer in the front and backyard. It is so easy to use! Because we loved how it looked so much, we asked Titan to install a vinyl dual pane insulated glass sliding door to the family room down stairs to the backyard and a large bay window of the same type over looking the front yard. I am so glad Titan Builders suggested the front window after we decided to do the back window because it is so great to have that morning sun come in through the window, also to watch the family in the front and back yard, and to see the beautiful weather here in Altadena. The installation was so easy, they did it so fast and they didn't even have to leave a gaping hole in the side of my house (which was my main concern). Once they measured and cut the area, they immediately place and set the window. It was so convenient and pleasing to hear. When the bay window was put in, we had one problem, THE TREE! Oh that messy tree! We loved it for its shade, but the mess was ridiculous. However, because we loved it so, we cut it so a stump was left and we use the stump as a table and the kids love to play with it by putting rocks and things on top of it so it is being put to great use. No we can see the whole view of LA and its city lights, fireworks from everywhere, and even lights from concerts from the Rose Bowl. Best suggestion we could have hope for and it was our BEST decision to have the true pleasure of Titan Builders to do our backyard/front yard remodel. We can't express the thanks and gratitude we feel towards Titan Builders! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING -- IT LOOKS AMAZING AND AWESOME!!
