He gave us an excellent bid to start with. Not just in price terms - because his price is competitive, but not cheap. But in terms of the detail he provided in the quote - down to specific materials, specific repairs, dates and times of when the work would begin and end, and how he would manage any disruption to our back garage area where people need to park and drive in and out. When he came to assess the job he spent 45 minutes with us, answering all of our questions regarding our options - he pointed out which areas needed work and why, he was patient and very thorough - he spotted a lot of things that other contractors glossed over. He clearly knows his stuff, and he was clearly interested in our business.
When it came to doing the work, he did exactly as he said on his bid - everything went according to plan, the work was completed much quicker than we expected, and we're very happy with the results. We would absolutely use Jay again.
