Paley Commercial Real Estate recently helped me lease out my commercial property. Due to the pandemic I had many reservations about starting a new lease, but Paley Commercial took extra precautions to make sure I was protected. Camille was extremely knowledgeable about all the latest orders concerning the eviction moratorium in Los Angeles and provided a lease that I felt comfortable signing. If you are looking for a broker to help with your commercial building, I highly recommend Jon Paley and his staff.

My recommendation is to stay away from Jon Paley Commercial Real Estate. I cannot imagine poorer representation: Paley and his daughter, Camille, seem to just want the money. They show little interest in the client. They slant their representation toward a “pocket listing” by doing whatever it takes to represent BOTH buyer AND seller in a transaction in order to grab both sides of the commission. Paley exhibited little regard for me as a seller, giving vague pricing guidance, a lack of listing initiative, poor marketing presentation, and general prevarication. Paley demonstrated even less regard for potential buyers represented by their own agent. He characterized other agents as ignorant (“Not how we do things”) and weakened at least one prospective sale by offering a greedy, substandard commission share: he was unapproachable and non-communicative with the buyer’s agent and the buyers which greatly impacted buyer-action on my property. My eventual buyers said they would probably NOT have purchased my property unless the transaction went forward without any involvement by Jon Paley. There are many honest, hard working and forthcoming brokers available. In my opinion, do not burden yourself with this greedy, shadowy and disagreeable business.
