"Dear Esteemed Customer, Wow! Thank you for the amazing feedback! We're so delighted you felt you were in good hands from your first conversation with us. Here at Olde Tyme Floor, we take pride in listening to our customers' vision and then deliver results that exceed expectations. It's fantastic to read that you're thrilled with the final look of your floors. The floors turned out absolutely beautiful, especially the hand-distressing with a "matte" finish. We also appreciate you mentioning our team's punctuality, hard work, and positive attitude. We're truly grateful for your business! FOR ALL OF YOU POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS: If you're looking for high-quality workmanship, combined with excellent customer service, please call Scott at 818-469-2267, so we can see how we can assist you with your flooring project. Thank you."
"Dear Valued Customer, We are so pleased to read how happy you are with our work. On this project, we removed and replaced several water-damaged planks, then resurfaced and refinished approximately 1200'sq.ft. of 6" wide, Red-Oak, plank flooring. Prior to starting, the existing floors were scratched and had turned a yellowish color due to aging since the floors were last resurfaced & refinished. We sanded the floors and removed the old stain & finish, including the scratches, then applied (4) clear-coats of commercial-grade polyurethane with a "matte" sheen. If you're looking for high-quality workmanship and great customer service, please call us at 818-469-2267."
"Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for your warm review, we really appreciate it! The floors turned out absolutely stunning. On this project, we were hired to resurface & refinish the 5" wide, White-Oak plank-flooring that was installed diagonally throughout the home. Prior to the sanding, the floors were stained a very dark color which made the house look dark and small. The customer chose the lightest, most "natural" color, which shows off the natural beauty of each plank. We applied (4) coats of polyurethane with a "matte" sheen, giving the floors a "raw" look which changed the look of their home. If you you're looking to restore your old, worn-out hardwood floors, you must callus at 818-469-2267, so we can beautify your home!"
"Dear Valued Members, We're so happy to read how much our customer likes their floors now that they've been refinished. Originally, our customer was thinking of having the floors cleaned, however, after inspecting the floors, I didn't feel that cleaning them would move the needle, so I recommended that we screen and refinish the floors with (2) coats of commercial-grade polyurethane. Suffice it to say that when the customer & I returned the next day to walk the floors, they looked clean and had a nice luster to them. We provided a cleaning kit and explained how to use it plus several other tips that would help maintain the floors. So, if your floors need some TLC, please call us at 818-469-2267, so we can help you determine what your floors need!"
"Dear Valued Members, On this project, we were hired to repair the Customer's flooring. The customer had some water-damage and as a result, had a plumber come out to repair a pipe in the concrete-slab. Upon our arrival we installed plastic dust-barriers to contain the dust as the area was in the Dining Room which is adjacent to the Family Room and Kitchen. Once the plastic was installed, we proceeded to remove (2) rows of flooring where the water-damage occurred plus a row of flooring on both sides of the repair area with a multi-tool. After the demolition, we grinded the concrete-slab where the plumber installed light-weight concrete to cover his work. The grinding was to make the surface flat and we feathered it on both sides onto the (2) adjacent rows we removed. Once this was done, we applied self-leveling concrete making sure the area was flat and smooth. After the concrete dried, we applied (2) coats of a moisture-barrier. After the moisture-barrier dried, we preceded to lace-in the new flooring with adhesive and then reinstalled the base-molding, moved the furniture back and removed the dust-barriers. Suffice it to say that the customer was extremely happy with our detailed work. If you're looking for quality workmanship and excellent customer service, please call Olde Tyme Floor for any of your flooring needs at 818-469-2267."
"Dear Valued Members, On this project we demo'd carpet and prepared the concrete-slab first by grinding the concrete-slab to clean it and remove the "high-spots". We also needed to apply self-leveling concrete to a few "low-spots". Once this was achieved, we applied (2) coats of moisture-barrier and preceded to install a cork underlayment for insulation and a soft feel. We then installed luxury vinyl plank flooring including base-molding. We're proud to write that our customer was extremely happy with the installation. If you have high expectations and want quality work from a 43+ year company, please call us at 818-469-2267."
"On this project, our scope of work was to move furniture, install plastic dust-barriers and then demo the existing hardwood floor and tile. As a result of the demolition, the subfloor was in bad shape and needed to be replaced with a new plywood sub-floor which we installed with adhesive and screws. Once this was completed, we needed to level the sub-floor as it was not flat enough. After the sub-floor leveling, we installed the new hardwood flooring including new base-molding. Our customer was extremely happy with our workmanship as we were in constant communication as they were not living in the house during this work. Having 43+ years of experience and installing well over 2,000,000 million square feet of flooring, we have the a tremendous amount of experience. So if you're looking for quality workmanship coupled with excellent customer service, please contact us at 818-469-2267."
"Greetings Valued Angie's List Members, On this project, we had the following scope-of-work: First, we demolitioned approximately 430'sq.ft. of carpet, padding & base-molding and hauled it away. Then we buffed and vacuumed the plywood subfloor to get it clean and made sure that the plywood subfloor was flat. After this, we installed 1/2" inch thick cork-underlayment panels with adhesive as a sound-barrier and comfort. Once this was completed, we installed a prefinished, engineered hardwood floor with adhesive. We also supplied and installed new base-molding throughout the home. As you may have read, our client was extremely pleased with our work, including our customer-service which makes our souls' soar! If you like quality work with excellent customer service, you need to contact us so we can help you with your flooring project. Please call us @ 818-469-2267"
"Dear Valued Customers, On this project, we were asked to remove and replace approximately (20-22) pieces of 1/2" x 2" wide, strip-flooring. While it's challenging to make these type of repairs, we have over (40) years of experience doing it. For these type of repairs, we charge by the amount of time we spend on the project. Please call us @ 818-784-2311 if you're looking for high quality workmanship and excellent customer service!"
"Dear Valued Angie's List Members, On this project, we totally resurfaced and refinished the existing 3/4" x 4" wide, solid White-Oak plank-flooring. Additionally, we regrooved the bevels and made them look crisp and clean. We also wire-brushed the floors which opens the grain and gives the floors a beautiful texture (The wire-brushing process is EXCELLENT if you have dogs or heavy traffic). After we completed these procedures, we applied a plant-based, Hardwax Oil that is Eco-friendly and is easy to maintain. If you're looking to resurface & refinish your floors, you MUST call us @ 818-784-2311 for a consultation."
"Dear Valued Members, On this project, we were awarded the job of resurfacing and refinishing the existing 1/2" x 2 " wide, solid Oak, strip-flooring with (1) clear-coat, (1) sealer-coat & (2) finish-coats of commercial-grade polyurethane. Prior to this, we moved the furniture & installed plastic dust-barriers. We also removed & replaced some damaged flooring. The floors cleaned up really nicely which was beyond all our expectations! If you're looking for quality work, by a company that cares, please call us at 818-784-2311."
"Dear Valued Angie's List Members, On this project, we moved the furniture, installed plastic dust-barriers and demolition the carpet, padding & tack-strip. We then cleaned the concrete-slab and inspected it for damages and levelness. As the concrete-slab had no damages and was very flat, we then applied an Eco-friendly moisture-barrier which prevents excess moisture coming up through the ground and through the concrete-slab. As soon as the moisture-barrier dried, we started installing the Customer's Marmoleum floor tiles. (It was a "floating" installation which requires no adhesive). After the flooring was installed we, supplied and installed new base-molding and reinstalled the furniture with felt-tip floor protectors. We're very pleased that the project went smoothly and that our Customer's were also happy with our workmanship and cleanliness. As our schedule was extremely busy at the time we were awarded the job, unfortunately we were not able to start the project until we had an opening in our schedule. If you desire a quality installation, which includes attention to detail and cleanliness, please call Olde Tyme Floor @ 818-784-2311 Thank you!"
"Dear Valued Angie's List Members, On this project, we were contracted to resurface & refinish the existing 3/4" x 2.25" wide, solid Red-Oak, strip flooring. As the existing floors had not be resurfaced for many years, in certain areas the floors were worn from foot-traffic. The finish had also aged which turned the floors a yellowish-hue. We drum-sanded & rotary-sanded the floors and stained them a light color and applied a "satin:" sheen finish with commercial-grade polyurethane. We also stripped, sanded, stained & finished; (2) hand-rails, a 6" x 13' foot Oak "cap" on a pony-wall, a vertical post and (4) cabinet doors and frame. In addition to this work, we also supplied and installed new, paint-grade, "MDF" base-molding wherever there was hardwood floors, and, against the Maple cabinets in the Kitchen we supplied, sanded, stained, finished and installed custom square base-trim. As you read the customer's short but very clear response, they were extremely pleased with our workmanship and attention to detail. If you're looking to resurface your existing floors, stairs, etc., please do not hesitate to call us @ 818-469-2267."
