MATRIX REMODELING

Work was not completed in a timely manner. Workers showed up after we would call to see if work was being done that day. Sometimes only showed up one or two days. Much left to do and not able to move back in completely week. Needless to say job is still not completed. Contract called for completion on May 4th 2006 this is May 5th and no one came to work today.

Eli Atia said this job would be ''get out'' beautiful. His worker Sammi was polite at the start, but towards the end he was getting up set at me because I kept telling him it wasn't ''get out'' beautiful. Every time I asked him about an issue, he would say it cannot be done. It was just an awful experience--I didn't want to pay the last payment, but Eli started saying he would put a lien on our house, and we'd have to pay his lawyer's fees. After all of that, I just wanted him out of our house. When he came to get the last payment, he looked at the job, and said he'd bring one of his workers to fix the problems. I called him once, and he never returned my call. Guess we won't be hearing from him. I got them through a newspaper flyer that came in the LA Times.
