It was supposed to be a zero fee refinance where they went from 4.75% interest to 3.75% interest. That was the selling point, so I took it. I have an email from somebody at the company telling that there would be no PMI on the loan. Six months later, there was PMI on the loan and they said that there is PMI on it now. They sent me a bill for a hefty escrow adjustment that needed to be done. The zero fee on the loan was not a zero fee; it was an $8000 adjustment from the final close of escrow from the previous balance. They said that it was a zero fee loan. They put an $8000 adjustment, so to me that's not a zero fee. Then to top it all off, yesterday I logged on to check my account, I have a refund from Loan Depot that they took out of my escrow account and gave back to themselves. They said that it was a refund to the customer, but I thought I was the customer. I would never ever use them again in the future. If there is a bottom of the list, they would be below the bottom of the list. Unfortunately, they own my loan. I don’t think anybody else is going to be able to give me 3.75%. The problem is I won't be able to find a refinance at 3.75%. The closing rate is 4.25% and that's on a twenty year, and I can't do that right now.
Description of Work: They did the refinance on my house.
