LA Faux Grass

It is bad.
He installed the turf. That was fine but he also left little plant gardens. He said he doesn't do that but he has a friend. The friend is licensed. He got his friend to come over and make me 3 little flower beds. The guy comes over and he says right up front, I don't come back. After I'm done I'm gone, you'll not see me anymore. He was hired by LA Faux Grass. I had the drip lines put in and they are going every which way and there's no water coming out, so if you look at it you see wet spots in places. The planting is starting to wilt. Everything just had just little wet spots instead of everything being nice and even. Then I see sand coming out and I called him back and he said that's the way it's supposed to be. This is terrible. You can't plant, you can't put flowers over there, you can't do anything. Needless to say the person that installed was very bad and I got a thing where he'll come back and fix it. What he did was he went and pulled out the pipes that were underground and he laid them all on top so now the pipes are laying on top of the soil every which way directed. Very, very bad. And he won't come back. The last time, he pulled them all out, here you'll get a lot of water and the guy started punching holes in the pipe all over. And still it was terrible. Now, they're just laying on top of the plants, ugly as can be.

I installed artificial turf in my yard about 5 years ago and love it. It's green year-round, never needs trimming or fertilizing, and you definitely save on water bills. After losing a large tree in my side yard this year, I decided to take out the stump and make that area grassy like the rest of the yard. The original company who did my turf is longer in business, so I reached out to several local turf companies for free estimates. (They all provide free estimates which is very much appreciated and important since it's not an inexpensive project.) Terry at L.A. Faux Grass had the most tuft options to choose from (he brought about 20 swatches, which gave me a better chance of matching my existing turf - other companies brought 1 or 2 swatches) - and he beat the lowest estimate. The work was top quality and very detailed. My side yard used to be dirt and now it looks like a resort. There are a number of companies to choose from but L.A. Faux Grass is tops. Terry is the owner, he personally oversees the work, he's been around for many years and isn't going to disappear (like the other company I used the first time,) and he wants to be sure the customer is happy. Recommended.

It looks beautiful - and all the work was done in one day. Everybody was very nice and they did a great job. It is great to have those old, overgrown bushes out. It's nice to have a level yard with no gophers. People in the neighborhood have been confusing it for sod! My dog loves it!
