Outstanding Service & Integrity My boss’s tenant noticed an AC leak on Sunday, so I reached out to multiple AC repair companies that day, 30 minutes later, Kaldess AC replied to my text and they could send someone over the next morning at earliest. A technician was at the condo first thing Monday morning—less than 24 hours later! Throughout the process he kept me updated with clear ETAs, which was a huge relief since I was coordinating everything remotely for my boss. Once on-site, he called to explain what he found: a clogged drain line. He cleaned it, but when the unit still leaked, he dug deeper and discovered a more complex pipe issue. Knowing I’m no HVAC expert, he followed up with a detailed text (complete with pictures) so I could relay the exact problem to a plumber and give my boss a precise status report. The best part? He didn’t charge us a cent for the visit or the drain cleaning because the ultimate fix required a plumber instead of an AC repair. That level of honesty and professionalism is rare. “I’ve got a guy....” A/C went out a while ago (I say ~3 weeks, my wife says 2+ months). Eventually the warm/hot weather forced us to deal with the situation, so we called Kaldess, based on their reviews on Angie’s List. That was on Thursday afternoon and Judah was on-site about 2 hours later. Now, let that sink in. SFV on an 88 degree day, with the weather getting hotter, and help was there not just on the same day, but nearly immediately! Judah was friendly and professional and he evaluated the situation, confirming what I pretty much already knew; we needed a new system (the old one was 17+ years old and it wasn’t all that great to begin with). He and his crew arrived exactly on time that Saturday ( only 2 days later) replaced the components, added an attic vent fan, had the old parts hauled off and was done and everything cleaned up on time (2 hours). The WHOLE thing, from our initial call to completion of the job was 44 hours (and we were asleep for 16+ of those hours)! I ENTHUSIASTICALLY can recommend Kaldess A/C and will definitely be using them for our HVAC needs going forward. I can’t guarantee you’ll get service as fast as we did, but I’m sure Judah will be there as quickly as he can.

Excellent service. Judah did the work and he was right in time, diagnosed the situation instantly and gave us a fair price. Nice guy. It was all done within a couple hours which is great because it’s COLD outside. We also decided to replace our thermostat.

Excellent. Explained troubleshooting and possible causes. Continued to isolate issue. As we were working on the issue, the heater began working again. Part of the troubleshooting was disconnecting and reconnecting all connections, looking for burns, broken wires, obvious signs of bad parts, testing all signals, and making sure power was getting to all parts. His explanations of what he was doing made me very comfortable with the troubleshooting he was doing. Apparently it was enough to get the system started. Juda took pictures and said he would get pet pricing for the part that he suspected as failing, but since the issue was resolved, he stated we should wait before we decide to spend money. I pointed out additional projects for future visits which he happily looked at. When I asked him the price for the Sunday same-day call to resolve my heater issue, he asked that I just keep him in mind if the issue returns and for future AC and heater services.

I have used Kaldess Air Conditioning and Heating to service my system for the last two years and I cannot say enough good things about this company. Juda (the owner) responds quickly to calls, even in the middle of the summer when I know he is extremely busy. He is professional, kind, and goes out of his way to save you money. We have an older system which will probably need to be replaced in the next few years, but Juda looks for the cheapest way to keep the old system performing at its best, presents you with all of your options so that you can make informed decisions, and never ever pushes you to spend money that you don't have to. Homeowners often feel at a disadvantage when dealing with construction professionals, so it is really important to work with people that you can trust. Juda is such a person. He is knowledgeable, professional, honest as can be, and as a bonus, he is a really nice guy! If you need someone to work on you HVAC system, you won't do better than Kaldess AC.

Juda came over 20 minutes after I called and was able to diagnose and fix the problems (there were several) within an hour. With SFV temps in July/August, that kind of service is amazing. In addition to clearly identifying and explaining the problem and costs, he was also incredibly professional, friendly and courteous.

The company that installed them simply set a service call for 3 days in the future. No sense of urgency or responsibility to a long time loyal customer. I am so glad I called Judah. He wouldn't let me just spend more money. Rather he wanted me to resolve it with the original company. After we chatted for a while he, and this why I recommend him and it's still unbelievable to me, he actually got on the phone trying to find someone in my area (Burbank) that would stop by and check why a new motor would not turn on. While he was on the phone I did as he asked and turned the system blower to ON. Miracle of miracles, it worked. Hadn't worked the night before, but it did then. He saved me a bunch of money and I got to have a cool home for a hot weekend. Here's a man that wanted to solve my problem even though there was nothing in it for him. Amazing and wonderful. He'll be my new go to repairman, that's for sure.

Our Air conditioning broke down on Friday the 13th. We called Juda on Saturday morning. He managed to get Al out to look at it by Saturday afternoon. Al was extremely straight forward. He advised us that the compressor had gone out and that we could replace it. He gave us the cost of replacing it as well as the risk of leaking. He also gave us the cost of a new air conditioner, which is what he recommended since our air conditioner was 17 years old. We opted to get the new conditioner. They were able to come out and install it on Wednesday afternoon, which was the soonest they could get a crane. Al and Juda were both extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They were also extremely thorough. The new air conditioning works great. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Juda and Al for all your hard work.

It was a record breaking heat day (I think the temperature topped out at 122) and Kaldess was overwhelmed with calls. Mr. Kaldess said he would do his best to get to me. At 11:03 PM he came to my home. He throughly explained the repair that was needed and why my AC failed. In 20 minutes, he had the air conditioner running once more. He still had one call left after me. He was at all times courteous and professional. I also asked him about an issue with my furnace. He looked it over and told me it was fine. I mention this because another HVAC company had said that I needed a new furnace. This is a man of integrity. In summary, this is an individual you can count on to show up (no matter what), do a good job, and treat you fairly.

Juda was very professional and friendly, answering all my questions and addressing my concerns. My house was built in the '30s and does not have an attic or crawlspace to run any ductwork. We discussed options and costs to meet my needs and settled on a mini split system. Juda and his crew came within the week to install everything perfectly, including moving curtain rods to allow space for the indoor fan component. Thank you Juda for a job well done!

we have hired Judah twice, once to service our two HVAC units and another time to fix a problem with our dryer vent. We live in a hard to find place, but, Judah was on time both times--which we very much appreciate. He came with a smile and did the work requested in a timely fashion, and in a good workman like manner. We would use his services again and would recommend him to you.

Judah was fantastic. Same day service for the initial onsite inspection, but what impressed me most was the fact that when I made the call, he walked me through a few steps to ensure that the problem could not be resolved without having to charge for a service call. Great, Juda came over last year and installed attic fan and suggested I replace the ducts they were known to be in bad shape when i bought the house. was in contact with him and used my tax return money to get it done plus a few other small things (replace old rusted electrical box attached to the hvac). he was patient through process and questions and was able to fit my schedule and did a satisfactory job. Will have a cool house this summer!

The best thing I can say was that Juda's level of customer service was perfect. He picked up the phone on the first call. I just needed a tune up for my AC. He was able to get me in the next morning.. Juda showed up on time as promised. He examined my system. We were both in agreement that it's very old. After further inspection and a tune up Juda was happy to report that the AC was working great despite it's age. We discussed the possibility of replacing the furnace due to age and safety but Juda didn't push me on that. It's good to have an idea of the cost for the future. So I appreciate Juda's honesty. Hopefully I don't need Juda any time soon but if there's any problems with our AC/heat he'll definitely be the first person I call!

My furnace would not turn on (30 years old, finally gave up) and I made a few calls. Juda was extremely prompt and his bid was the lowest. He was able to schedule me in that same weekend. He showed up on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. After the furnace install he even replaced my thermostat and didn't even charge me for it. I highly recommend Juda and Kaldess AC for your HVAC needs.

Juda came over on a Sunday......actually Super Bowl Sunday when I called and told him I had a problem. He was there on time, answered all questions I had (even those not related to THIS job) and promptly got my AC back up and running, and healthy. Yes I would use him again, and will when my next project is ready.
