After getting a few estimates and discussions with prospective companies, I ended up going with Hands On Remodeling to replace the shingles on my roof. After 15 years, it was time. I must admit that I don't know much about this sort of stuff. But, from amongst the different people that I spoke with, they were the best at making me feel comfortable. Or, at least more so than any of the other companies I considered. I spoke with Issac and Jonathan. After checking out my home and listening to my needs, they suggested and I ultimately went with a more energy-efficient shingle too. It's something called cool roof shingles? And, I'm glad I got them. I can't recall most of the industry jargon I read and stuff they told me. But I do know this. I was up in my attic the other day doing my own little "do it yourself" project when unlike in the past, I noticed that there was absolutely no heat up there as I walked around like there used to be. Must be those (new) cool shingles?! Something is definitely different. But anyway, overall, I liked the job the company did, the price was nice, and the level of comfort I felt made a difference. Next up for me will be remodeling my kitchen and bathrooms by using my tax refund money next year. Guess who I'm calling again? Yes, these guys are good.
