He didn't go very well actually.  They lied saying they were able to get mold out of ducts when ducts cannot grow mold and they lied about how far they were going to be cleaning into the ducks.  They didn't put all the vents back on and ones that they did put back on, they didn't put back on right.

We recently requested service from Fresh Air Systems. Although the service from the workers was adequate, Dennis, the owner is unprofessional, rude and dishonest.  After initial visit but prior to agreeing to the recommended work, I requested from Dennis for a final price.  he started by saying that the price quoted by the worker was the best he could do.  When I asked what price that was, I noticed he didn't know as he kept saying 'whatever you were told'. At this point Dennis became irritated, unprofessional and extremely inappropriate.  After discussing this with someone that worked with them due to my recommendation, I was reminded of the horrible job they did and when attempting to mitigate the damage they had caused, Dennis acted like the crook that he is and refused to help at all.  I will never deal with them again and urge anyone considering them for service to avoid them as well.

We had a problem with them.  They came out because we had a problem with the air conditioner.  We called them and they said that they would be out at a certain time and they didn’t, but we had to keep calling them.  Then they finally came out and our system was nine years old.  It worked well all these years.  They said that it doesn’t matter and we would have to buy a new air conditioner.  Then there was another problem.  The motor went out and they told us that it would cost us $700 to fix it.  They said that they would have to put a low keyed one.  The other work what they did was at a fair price but it took another day for them to find one for us.  I told them that I wanted the old motor or the old part and they said that they would bring it to us, but they never did.  They never even called back.  The bottom line is that we never got it back.  I don’t know what really happened.  So I don’t know if they really replaced the motor or not because I wasn’t there when they were working.  They did the repair but the problem was we don’t know if that was the problem or not.  It could have been something very simple but they got $700 from us.  That was the only thing that I disliked.  I disliked the fact that they never returned the old part.  We called them a number of times and the people in the office said that they would bring it back.  So we couldn’t believe what they were saying.  They said the old part was thrown away.  They got the air conditioner working though.  So that was okay but I generally don’t know what they did.  We will not use their services again in the future.

He has done a lot of work for us and he has done a wonderful job. We give him a five star rating. He’s good with everything. The pricing is reasonable.

Work was done and since we were doing a major remodel we couldn't really test it much until after 3-4 months when we moved it. So, after we moved I noticed that the unit was resealed around the plenum area and all the air is blowing out. I called them and they came out almost right away and resealed everything which was nice.

After about a week or so I get an invoice for over $170 dollars for a trip charge and the tape that they put to seal the gaps that they were supposed to do originally which they got paid for. I called them and explained everything and was told that they will look into it and get back to me. Of course nobody got back to me and they kept sending me invoice for months which I kept ignoring. Finally they called me again trying to called past due invoices, I explained them everything again and was told that I will get a call back. This time they called me back and confirmed that I don't need to pay anything.

Another issue is that we have a zoming system which was not properly installed originally by original owners, my idea was to try to make it work better and this was one of the reasons I hired FreshAir. However they failed to tell me that our duct work is majorly undersized. If they did I couldn't have fix them easily during remodeling when all the ceiling was open, now it's too late..

How I know that my duct work is undersized? I have called 3 top rated AC contractors from Angies list and they all said the same thing...

Bottom line, this guys are ok for a small fix, but if you are looking for something major, you may want to look elsewhere..

I had also asked them to give me an estimate to install a whole house central humidifier, but they failed to even give me the estimate because it was a time peak time when they were super busy. I had also asked them to look into replacing our Honeywell zoning controller which is old and I had found a new one that should help improve our zoning system but the owner never even got back to me.. I even called him once and asked what's up? He said he will get back to me and he didn't. I was hoping and thinking that they can become our go to AC company, but obviously this is not happening.

Since then I have hired Khan air to adjust our zoning system and to my surprise they did a great job and made our system a lot more comfortable. They might not be the cheapest one, but they won't take the job if they can't make it right!

very nice people, initial meeting not great. first response to problem was "we can't do anything until the ice melts" and they were going to leave. it was very cold that day, I needed heat. So I told them I would get a hair blower & melt it myself. I had actually chipped away some of the ice the day before. they didn't think that would work, but i made them stay & try it. they then suggested pouring hot water to melt the ice, they got into the process & from then on were working hard and diligently. i stayed home to assist and provide access to the kitchen sink. it took a long time, i left for work after 3 hours and came home to a nice toasty warm house. so all was well. had i not insisted they stay and work on the problem, it wouldn't have been done. so i really don't know how to rate them.

They did a wonderful job and was very professional. He gave an accurate estimate. I just wanted to express my gratitude for a job well done, even though I went with another individual.

Scheduled an appointment for the estimate with no problems. They missed the time window on arrival, but had called ahead and were apologetic. They took their time reviewing the current system, and had some valuable input. But the actual estimate itself was completely lacking in detail, which is exactly the opposite of what we requested. I was hoping that the mailed version would be an improvement, but it merely restated, almost verbatim, the original handwritten quote. The price was almost too good to be true. Nice, folksy attitude, and I liked them at the time, but the lack of professionalism on the follow-up put me off.

I called Dennis at Fresh Air, which I found through consulting Service Magic, after having a bad experience with A and B Heating, which I have detailed under their name. Dennis displayed a clear knowledge of old floor furnaces over the phone and gave me specific ranges of estimates for different degrees of problems, which a number of other repair shops refused to do.Although the two techs wer 30 minutes late for the appointment ( the only downgrade I gave them) once they got there they went right to work, climbing in the crawl space to identify the problem. they worked efficiently to identify a serious leak in the gas supply pipe and thoroughly cleaned the furnace which was filthy. The charge was fair and reasonable considering the effort the two of them took to correctly diagnose the problem and safely correct it. they we both knowledgable and professional.
