I didn't realize when I called the owner that he wasn't available because he was out of town.  He sent out an employee, or an apprentice.  When I called about the drain problem I thought the owner would come out.  The apprentice tried to solve the problem but he said he had to go through the roof with a rod to solve the problem.  I don't know if that was the right decision because there was an opening to the sewer in front of my house.  I didn't ask him what the charge would be, and he didn't offer it either.  He had to go up to the edge of the roof for a very short time.  Then he gave me a bill for $300.  He was at my home for 70 minutes total.  I complained to the owner about the price for that short amount of time.  The owner stated that since there is danger involved, the cost is higher.  The owner would not make any adjustments.  I felt like I was very ripped off.

The plumbing problem was quite involved (or so it seemed) going back several months with severe pipe chatter and banging which only grew worse. Two other plumbers tried unsuccessfully to solve the problem and even a call to DWP brought no relief.  A neighbor recommended Emerald Green, and within hours of our call they were at the door.  Although the first visit didn't bring a solution, a follow-up call helped solve the problem!  After some detective work and isolating part of the system, the problem was found to emanate from something as simple as warn bathroom faucet inserts.  As soon as the inserts were replaced, the problem was solved.
Then there was the matter of the small leak in the kitchen faucet--an older Delta model.  Unfortunately the leak couldn't be fixed as it was caused by a broken internal part instead of just a warn washer.  As luck would have it, that particular model had been discontinued so a new faucet had to be installed.  That job was done quickly, efficiently and professionally.  In total, there were three visits and included several hours of work--particularly for the kitchen faucet installation.

They were very good. They agreed to let me pay over time without interest. I was very satisfied with them.

They are just very courteous and fast to respond to the job. They have nothing to improve upon and I'm a very picky person, so if they do one thing whether it be being late, spill water on my floor or anything, I will give them an absolutely negative review. There is nothing I can say negative that's why I'm recommending them. I've recommended them to my mother.

After discovering them through a Lowe's installation, we've used Emerald Green for several years, for jobs large and small. When our main water line recently spring a leak, we called them without hesitation. Brian and his crew were superb. It was a very complicated job and they stayed late until the work was complete. They were clean, careful courteous and punctual. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and fair plumber.

Came on time, installed new stem without a problem. Checked out leak under the sink and installed new part.
After a few days, I happen to check under the sink and noticed it was still leaking. I called Emerald Green and they came right out. The problem was found and fixed at no extra cost. This is not a bargain company, but a thoroughly knowledgeable and professional one that I can always count on. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again.

Well, my husband and I needed a new toilet for one of our bathrooms, since the old one was looking very worn out and making weird noises. So we went to Lowe's and picked out a nice new toilet, and paid for the toilet itself, plus the installation and delivery charges in advance, on our Lowe's account.
Lowe's had scheduled Brian Walsh of Emerald Green Plumbing to do the removal of the old toilet and installation of the new toilet. Brian came to our condo on 5/1/13 to do these procedures. He was on time, and very enthusiastic to get the projects under way.
It was a bit challenging to get the old toilet into his truck, and to get the new toilet into our condo. We live on the bottom floor of a multi-level condo building, and you have to either go down a flight of stairs, or go down a slightly steep grassy hill, to get to our condo. We just had to pay $50.00 for the extra labor that was involved from this, but it was worth it. Brian was able to find the easiest ways to get it all done, and I'm glad I was there to help in every way I could.
Once the new toilet installation was completed, Brian had me sign some paperwork, and he gave me his business card. He also gave me a business sticker to put on our garbage disposal container, and encouraged me to feel free to call him in the future, if we ever need help with any other plumbing problems.
All in all, Brian was very pleasant and thorough on everything. I really enjoyed working with him, and I would highly recommend his services to anyone who needs to have a new toilet installed, or any other plumbing services performed.

As the homeowner, I had been trying for a couple of weeks to free all of the sinks and tub (everything was a very slow drain by then) by pouring boiling hot water down all of the sinks and the tub many times over thinking that I could free a lot of the debris with a lot of hot water, but I was wrong. I called Brian Walsh, owner of Emerald Green Plumbing, and within a very short period of time, he came to our home, and took a look at each area that was in trouble and then went to work to start freeing all of the stoppages. I had called Brian rather late in the day, and because of complications due to some of the stoppages, he worked on them until about 8pm the same evening. He was very courteous and worked very hard to free the kitchen and tub first so that we could take care of our kitchen and dishes and all and also so that my family could bathe later on that same evening.
There was so much work left to be done (the tub caused a lot of problems) that it was necessary for Brian to return the next morning. He arrived very early and quickly went back to work to complete the job. By the time he had everything done, all drains were completely free and clear and we were up and running again. I can honestly say that I would most definitely call Brian again without any hesitation. He never once complained that his work for us took him past his regular end-of-the day hours of work, and we believe that he charged a very fair price for all of the work that he did for us considering that every drain in our house was stopped up. We are talking very slow draining by now. I highly recommend Emerald Green Plumbing for any plumbing work to be done. Brian definitely knows the layout of the older homes as well as the newer ones, so this puts him in a very good position to know how to go about fixing all plumbing problems inside or out. We are very pleased with all plumbing work that Brian has ever done in our home and have not ever considered calling anyone else to help us with our plumbing problems.

We have used Emerald Green in the past. While they are knowledgable and do good work, more often then not, they are late or just provide a last minute excuse on the reason they are not able to show up promised in the Thousand Oaks part of Ventura County.

I purchased the water heater from Lowe's and they sent Emerald Green Plumbing to do the work. Emerald Green scheduled a convenient time for me and arrived exactly when I expected. The young man who actually did the work seemed very knowledgeable and careful to me. And this was confirmed when the city inspector came to approve the job. He commented that everything was carefully done and in accordance with what was required. The plumber who did the work was even polite when I went a little balistic about learning that he had to charge an additional $250 for the piping he needed to do to drain any overflow to the outside. He worked for most of the afternoon on the job and cleaned up after he was done. I would definitely go back to Emerald Green when I need additional plumbing done in my home.

I had a problem with the toilets and shower backing up. I called Brian at 5:20PM and without hesitation when I told him the problem he was here in 20 minutes. I thought I would have to pay an arm and a leg for service. He found the problem which was the main sewer line back up and fixed it within 45 minutes. He now has a raving fan! Great job Brian.

I thought they did the job well. It did not take long to get it in and have it running. It has never given me any problems at all. The workers cleaned up when they were done and were very friendly to us. I have no complaints about them.

We were happy with how pleasantly we were treated by the people from this company. Everyone was really friendly and very polite. The guy had our old water heater out and the new one in stalled in just a matter of a couple of hours. We really feel that we received a very fair price for the entire job. He cleaned up all of the water on the floor and left no mess for us to have to clean up.

The old water heater was taken out and the new one in and up and running in an hour. The new water heater has not had any leaks or anything around it. It has also never had the pilot light go out on it as our other one used to go out all of the time.

This company was subbed out by another company when I purchased my water heater through them. They are an okay company. They are pretty typical in terms of what you would expect out of a contractor. They could stand to improve a little on everything. I'd say they're average. They're not outstanding but they're not horrible either.

The serviceman was very cordial to us and cleaned up all debris created by the work. He provided an excellent water heater and in the nearly two years we have had it here, there have been no problems. I would recommend these people to others who require this type of service.

Emerald Green was a company that made us feel like satisfied customers. As I recall, we paid somewhere just shy of a thousand dollars for the work they did. We had no problems with any employees and we certainly would give the company our business in the future.

Now, Emerald only installed this heater. We actually bought it elsewhere. I have used them in the past and they have given me the security I need to trust them and know that they are capable of doing a good job. The last people I used did not even know what they were doing. Emerald is very professional and they do outstanding work. The only complaint with Emerald is that they are just a bit high priced. Other than that, they are great.

We needed a new water heater installed right away. We had been a customer of this company in the past and they treated us right before so we decided to give them a call. They had the right kind of water heater we needed in stock and they were able to send someone out first thing in the morning to fix our problem. He was very polite and he worked very quickly to get our hot water flowing again. We have had no problems with the new system or their services.

I THOUGHT THAT THEY WERE JUST FINE. THEY WERE PLEASANT, CAPABLE, RESPECTFUL, AND SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL WORKS, AND THAT IS THE PURPOSE.
