we purchased a new condo in Playa del Rey and we hired Jack to do some remodeling for us. he did a SUPERB job! he was 100% the best person for the job--he is a constant professional and has a very nice laid back pleasant demeanor. he was very honest & straightforward with what was do-able and not possible with our budget and timeframe, he always kept us informed and was always very quick to reply to an email, text, or phone call. a good personality is something very rare to find with contractors! for the scope of work, he did a complete master bathroom remodel. converting our bath tub into a large walk in shower, converting the plumbing from bath to shower, re-tiling the entire bath, re-tiling the entire floor, installing a new toto washlet toilet, installing new recessed lights & fan, installing a new vanity, vanity top with sinks, new vanity LED mirror, new medicine cabinets. it was a top to bottom redo of the bathroom. there was also additional work throughout the home (new carpet, new tile & toilet in 2nd bathroom, new faucets throughout the home, new valves, new haiku bedroom fan, paint kitchen cabinets, and paint the entire home). at the end of the day we feel very lucky to have found Jack on Home Advisor. he did a great job, he and his team worked fast & well—which is a rare combo. we could not recommend E&J Construction more highly!
