After interviewing several contractors, my husband and I chose Dixie Remodeling to begin what we call Reno 1.0 on our 1940’s home. Reno 1.0 was a large job – removal of walls, heightened ceilings, leveling of our 1st floor, a brand new high end chef’s kitchen, re-designed and put in a new staircase with storage underneath, new French oak floors and updated plumbing and electrical throughout, painting etc.  Yari, the owner of the business was not the lowest price but he came the highest recommended and in the end was worth every dollar.
Yari is extremely knowledgeable and an absolute perfectionist. He was on location, supervising the job, checking the work on a daily basis and was always ready to explain the process and next steps. His availability and attention to detail truly is the white glove standard of his service. His scheduling ability is remarkable and he was available to us day and night. He and his team are professional, honest and very respectful. The team arrived on time every morning and cleaned up every evening before leaving the job. We lived in the home throughout half of the renovation timeline with our 2 year old toddle and never were we concerned that our son would get into anything he wasn’t suppose to. The team worked that clean!
Most importantly, even after we ran into several unexpected bumps in the road Yari stayed on budget and finished the job on time.  We are absolutely delighted with results and will be clients of his for life! In fact, he will be starting Reno 2.0 this winter which will entail all 4 bathrooms in our home, turning our garage into a pool house, the backyard living space, the exterior of our home and all the landscaping.

Yaron, from Dixie Remodeling started working on my Fleetwood sliding doors, and after seeing the quality of his work and professionalism, I decided to contract him to work on the rest on my house. Everything he did for me was custom and entailed a lot of details. I would refer Yaron to everyone. He has been the best contractor I have encountered so far. I have dealt with many contractors who I had to fire due to their lack of vision and work ethic, but Yaron really delivered. Yaron did a great job on our front porch addition. We have a 1937 Spanish bungalow in Los Angeles and needed a front porch cover for shade and shelter from the rare Los Angeles rain. We wanted something that matched the style of the house so that when completed it would look like it was part of the original house. Yaron came up with the design himself and carried it out to perfection. We've already had many compliments from neighbors and passers by who say they that the addition looks like it was built with the house. Yaron and his crew were prompt, professional, and friendly. They always cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day so it never felt like a disaster zone in our front yard. All of our questions and concerns were answered quickly each day, usually within the hour. The job was done close to the time frame given and the cost was close to the estimate given. I highly recommend Dixie Remodeling. It was a great experience working with Yaron and we've already asked him to renovate our kitchen when we're ready.

We hired Dixie Remodeling to remodel a bathroom based on a reference from a co-worker. We are very pleased with the results. The owner Yari worked closely with us to make sure we got everything we wanted. All his workers and subcontractors were excellent, but in particular, we made a change to the plan for the floor, and Yari made the extra effort to bring in a specialist to finish the floor. Our new cement floor looks like travertine and people stop and comment when they see it. We chose caesarstone for low maintenance for the shower and counter top, to avoid having to clean grout lines. With Yari's guidance, the whole look is well-integrated.
Yari stayed in touch daily, stopped by most days to check progress, coordinated the work crews and made sure we knew who was coming and when. Our bathroom project was not a big project and I was very impressed by the extra care and attention we received for this small job. Dixie Remodeling was not our lowest bid, but they did a solid job and I can highly recommend Yari. We would definitely hire him again!

Dixie Remodeling, led by Yaron Hirsh completed my kitchen remodel in July of 2013. The services and outcome of the project were absolutely fabulous. My brother recommended Yari to me as Dixie Remodeling had remodeled his kitchen as well. From the beginning of the project, Yari was completely professional and transparent in the scope of work that he intended doing for me. After an assessment of the project, he provided me with a list of the work, including pulling permits that would be required and the cost of each phase of the project. Throughout the project, Yari and his staff were absolutely trustworthy, professional, and reliable. Yari consistently kept me informed about the progress of the project and let me know who would be in my home on a daily basis. I felt assured that my home and belongs would be safe under Yari's supervision of the project. His staff were clean and cleaned up their debris on a daily basis. I never received a complaint from the neighbors in my condo complex throughout the project.
Yari's taste and attention to detail were evident from the beginning of the project. His vision for the outcome enabled me to understand that my kitchen, although small, was an important project for Yari. He took into account my budget and was careful not to recommend materials that would go over the funds that I had allocated for the project. The materials, however that he did recommend, ultimately, added value and an appearance of being a high-end project. I am so very pleased with my kitchen an have received several very complimentary comments on my kitchen. If I have any requests, I will not hesitate to recommend Yari and Dixie Remodeling for any project that they have. I am looking forward to having my bathroom remodeled next year and will not hesitate to contact Yari for the project. Yari is a true professional.

As an Interior Designer for 10+ years my firm has worked with many construction companies and sub-contractors. I met Yaron, owner of Dixie Remodeling, when a client insisted we use D.R. to remodel a master bathroom we had designed for their home. Now, 2 years later, Dixie Remodeling is the only construction company we trust to bring on our projects and/or recommend clients hire to complete our designs.
Yaron, owner of D.R., is a perfectionist. He understands the importance of design. He's honest. Clients love him because he arrives with a smile and he's easy to speak with- he doesn't intimidate them. He's the first one to arrive on site and the last to leave. He goes to the city for permits and waits on site for inspectors to show. His workers are professional, courteous, knowledgable, and have been with D.R. for years. The office staff is well organized, easy to reach, and always willing to help.
When we hire or recommend contractors we put our reputation on the line. If workers don't show up or the quality of work is poor, we could be held accountable. In the past, while working with other contractors, someone from our company needed to visit job sites 2 or 3 times a day to make sure everything was being properly attended to - and now, with Dixie on board as contractor and project manager, we know that everything is going according to plan and if there are any questions or changes, we will be contacted immediately.
Dixie has never underbid our projects and they've somehow managed to complete our jobs on time, no matter how many last minute change orders we've thrown their way.
