Initially the special berber carpet and wood flooring looked very good.  We found some minor installation problems but over the next six months the carpet became loose and showed "ripples."  The finish of flooring started to discolor with "cloudy" splotches.
 We called and wrote letters to document everything.  Eventually we separately met with Mr. Harari and a representative from the flooring distributor.  Mr. Harari inspected the carpeting, which he had sold us a special deal, and flooring.  Despite his assurances, further calls resulted in no action, not even in an offer to send someone out to restretch the carpet.  The representative Mr. Harari sent out for the flooring said the color would even out and eventually the cloudy spots in the finish would disappear.  The mouldings his installer installed were short on the ends.  Where the flooring should have been flush to the kitchen cabinets, it was not.  The flooring finish continued to worsen.  In short the products, service and installation were so poor that we had no other recourse but to sue.  We won our case and his insurance company paid.  Way too much frustration and aggravation to have with finish materials for a brand new home.  Things can sometimes just go wrong.  When they do that's the real test of a company's dedication to their customer and this company failed.  Mr. Harari  could have been helpful but he was not.  So, in our book, he deserves an F and we would never recommend him.  We have all the paperwork to document our experience.  Beware of this company.

Ron store manager and owner, was very polite and provisional.. Job was completed on time with no problems. His workers where excellent , and thorough. I would hire them again if the need comes up. Thanks Ron, Job well done.

It went fine. The proprietor at the shop showed many carpet options. The company provides only one kind of pad, but that said, the pad must be pretty good because the berber we got feels great underfoot in our master. 
For the carpet and installation, it cost $3/sq foot. I don't feel like that was an amazing price, but it was certainly less than many other vendors we spoke to. 
The installers arrived on time, left no mess, and the installation looks and feels great. 
We have no complaints about the quality of the carpet or the quality of the installation. It wasn't an easy job either as the master sweet is an odd shape. 

They were punctual, friendly, clean and did an excellent job.  The site was cleaned before completion and they didn't leave or finish until I was satisfied.
Overall, I had an excellent experience!

The installer called the night before installation to give the installation time.  They arrived on time,  The two bathrooms were going to be difficult because of the age of the carpet and how it had been laid originally.  They were experienced and handled the challenges.  The carpet looks good, and is well laid.
I am hoping to use Carpets 4 U i the future.

Awesome job done by their installer Martin.  Discount Carpet actually referred us directly to their installer, Martin without hesitation.  Martin brought a great quality carpet pad as I had asked for and was able to give me a quote for all my work over the phone.  He was prompt, professional and did a very nice job especially in the restretching of the carpet in 2 of my rooms.  Others had told me they would have to cut and seam the buckled areas but Martin moved some very heavy furniture and stretched the carpet  as if it were the initial installation without have to cut and seam it.  His 35 years of experience definitely shined at our home!

It was a great experience.  I e-mailed Ron Harari who promptly responded with information on their pricing and availability which included the first appointment time I had indicated I would work for me.  He sent out Gilbert who arrived exactly on time, tacked the carpet including installation of additional padding on one step.  The stairs looked really great when they were done, they even smoothed the carpet into an area where the wood framing and wall weren't really even so that the carpet makes the framing defect less noticeable than it was prior to the start of the home improvement project.  Very skillful! They worked efficiently, were polite and professional and cleaned  up after themselves.  Would definitely call on them again for future carpet installations or repairs.

I spoke to Ron at Discount Carpeting for You, explaining that we needed a section of our carpeting replaced. He immediately gave me a very reasonable estimate and set me up with a service team for the next day. They called before coming, arrived punctually, and replaced the padding and damaged carpeting and padding perfectly in a minimal amount of time. Ron and the servicemen were totally professional and courteous. I would not hesitate to call them again. I was totally satisfied.

The crew was prompt and efficient. I have dogs, but the dogs stayed out of their way and the crew didn't seem to mind. The stairs look great and the carpet is lovely. My husband jokes that the stairs are the nicest part of the house now since their carpeting is so "cushy." The team did a great job. I'd go to them again.

While the store lacks the space, layout and organization of higher end businesses. The product itself appeared the same. I was pleased with their level of professionalism. The quality of the install, I would rate an 8 1/2 out of 10. Some of the fine details in the cutting (especially around the hand railing on the stairs) isn't perfect. For the value and overall experience, I would definitely use them again!

I got two more great deals on flooring and carpet. Ron had some leftover Pergo floor from another job and there was plenty that could be used in my kitchen. It was the perfect color and texture. The flooring + installation was only $900. As usual, the guys showed up on time and got to work right away...only one problem-I had some wood in the kitchen floor (under the washing machine) that needed to be replaced. They took care of that for another $300. They picked up the materials for the floor repair and came by the next day to fix the bad floor and then installed the new Pergo floor. It came out beautiful and was well worth the money. The installers also refinished my hardwood floors (separate job) for $1000. Another beautiful floor completed. I also recarpeted two small bedrooms and hallway with another plush remnant carpet for $900. Again the workers showed up on time and completed the job within several hours. The rug looks gorgeous and feels wonderful under your feet. This company provides great and reliable service for a very reasonable price.

Gilbert and his associate showed up exactly on time and worked steadily throughout the day. Their work was excellent! They worked methodically tearing up the old carpet and putting down the new (and cleaning up along the way). I got a great price for a berber remnant that looks wonderful. Great quality carpet for the price. The carpet installation was professional and looks great. I plan to use this company to redo my kitchen floor and probably some other bedrooms!
