David and his hard working men took on a very difficult task of tearing down a large fence and replacing it with one with privacy panels. Also created a new storage area. In addition, I had major wall damage from tree roots They installed a beautiful new one. The men always came on time, were very professional, tidy, and polite. The company did a perfect job, with David at the helm. I will definitely use their services again.

This project involved replacing and widening my driveway and apron as well as replacing my entire sidewalk and pruning the tree and tree roots that had caused the sidewalk damage. Because the sidewalk work was being done under the LA City Sidewalk Safety Rebate Program, there were special permitting requirements. I was extremely happy with Buildsmart. David, the owner, exhibited true expertise in dealing with the various city inspectors and special requirements. The job was finished on schedule and the results are beautiful. The crew was great and cleaned up after every day to keep the impact on me and my neighbors to a minimum. I get regular compliments from my neighbors and passer-bys on my beautiful new sidewalk and especially my driveway. Starting to plan some other projects around my house and will definitely be using Buildsmart.

They were on time, neat about the work space, pleasant to have around, finished the work in a timely manner. Very happy with this experience and I hope to use them for some future unfenced related construction.

Buildsmart was the best choice I could make. David, the owner, was prompt for our appointment to discuss replacing my fence and came in with a very reasonable quote. I needed a few other things done around my home (foundation work, replacing a dryer vent under the house and adding wood trim around the floor in my living room) which he also took care of. I didn't realize that he and his team are licensed in many different aspects of home improvement and it was so nice to have one person to communicate with for all these things I had done. During the installation/work David would frequently stop by to see the progress, and answer any questions I may have had. I am so happy with the work that was done and I would recommend him to everyone. Please have David give you a quote on anything you need done and you will see that not only is he a great person but the work done is great quality as well.

When I needed a new fence, I got three bids. David and BuildSmart hit the middle, price-wise. But the deciding factor for me was his knowledge and expertise. He saw issues and offered creative solutions that the others did not. His crew was good, on time and on schedule. The materials and approach all were top notch. They even threw in a small stucco repair project on my house just to close the deal. We had one small miscommunication on a minor detail. David and his team made good on it with superior workmanship. I would use this team again without hesitation. I recommend the work, the reliability and the customer service. And of course, the fence.

David and his team were on time and cost effective to build a custom automatic gate with motor. They showed up, handled the little things that come up in a job, and worked straight through until it was done. I was very happy.

We recently had a fence, shed, small deck and some minor siding work built by David and his crew at BuildSmart. We could not be happier with the final results. They exceeded our expectations. In addition, as the other reviewers write, there prices are very competitive and David even tries to come up with ways to save you money if it can be done. We will definitely be using them again in the future for bathroom and kitchen remodeling.

Hired David and his crew after they did a great job on some brickwork and repair of retaining wall in front of house. Great job on my fence. I am very happy to recommend David. David personally supervised the construction of the gazebo in my backyard and finished ahead of schedule. He returned cheerfully to fix anything I wasn't happy with. He also came back a couple of months later to fix other unrelated problems with my front door and my laminated flooring at no extra charge. He's a trustworthy guy and I recommend him highly. And his office manager is the best!!

We give A & D Quality Builders our highest recommendation. They remodeled two bathrooms, a kitchen/dining room, living room with entertainment center, fireplace and mantel, laundry room with cabinets and tankless WH, plus electrical upgrades. They gave us excellent design recommendations, and performed tile, drywall, painting, plumbing, cabinetry, electrical, and countertop work with attention to every detail. They completed all work within the projected time frame and were very responsive to requests for modification of the original plan. The workmen were pleasant, highly skilled and conscientious, and cleaned up after each day's work. We love our newly remodeled home.

They are extremely friendly and accommodating. They got to work right away and did a nice job. There were a couple of items that were left unfinished (crown molding, caulking) but they were quick to come back and tidy it up when we noticed it.
