Brian and Pedro were excellent. They showed up on time, performed requested work for agreed upon price, did not try to upsell or exaggerate the problem. They got my storm drains working and did so with professionalism and hard work. Definitely recommend.

It went well but an originally $275 job turn out to be $950! The work was necessary and the price of $950 was the average cost of the work performed.

Brian returned my initial call within a few hours and it turned out he was calling from vacationing in Thailand! We discussed what was needed, different brands that he recommended, agreed on price, and then he scheduled his guys to do the installation the following day. His guys were on time, professional, knowledgeable and did a great job. I will definitely use Bryco for all our plumbing needs!

I swim year round and keep my pool very warm, so I need an enclosure over my over-sized pool that I can swim under during colder weather. My husband found a 50x50 translucent tarp we could suspend tent style over our pool to create a greenhouse effect, but didn't know how. Pole companies quoted thousands of dollars to install a pipe at each end of the pool with a cable in between like a clothesline on steroids.  A friend recommended Bryco plumbing.  Brian brought years of experience and suggested creative ideas we would never have thought of.  24 hours later we had extremely strong galvanized plumbing pipes driven six feet into the ground, secured with enough cement to make a mobster proud, and all at a price within our budget.  Brian's team resolved every unforeseen challenge (e.g. prior underground cement and unused old pipes) without complaint or a change in pricing.  It is a week later and my pool is a weather protected paradise and my gas bills are much lower.  I like knowing a good plumber, but I really like that we know a good plumber with a clever mind.  Now we are considering a solar pool water heater.  Time to call Brian again.

Thank you.

On Wed, Nov 6, 2013 at 6:25 AM,   Brian,  Thanks again for a job well done.  As a repeat customer many times over, I am a bit surprised at the cost of this visit.  Can you explain the bill?  I did pay the young man, as I'm sure he is not in a position to negotiate bills.   Am I being charged for after hours?  If so, I called the day prior, returned a call at 10:00 to book the appointment for 3:30 and then again at 4:00 when no one showed. The young man asked me if it was okay to bring out the larger snake at a higher cost.  I agreed and when he did so, this didn't work.  The ultimate solution was a extra large construction boring bit that was in my son's tool box.  Nonetheless, can we please work with the price?   BTW...I did ask for the internet discount, which I don't see documented on the bill.  Thanks for working w/me.  I will keep you in mind for my kitchen remodel.  Thanks again,

I hope I am making sense!  Anyways he spent approx 3 hours and with our labor and equipment fees it is on a average what we would charge and don't feel it is excessive considering but The last thing I want you to feel that we overcharged you what ever I can do to make you feel comfortable just let me know what you think is fair!

I know you look at just time spent in your house we base it on variables like some of it went into overtime, ware and tear on machinery and usage as well as overhead cost a percentage of drive time etc. I could see if he charged $350 and above then I would start to think it is a little excessive  its funny because sometimes we work longer for less and I never have any one come up to me and offer me more money for working longer for less money also we really don't price things by the hour  it's everything into one labor cost , over head cost, machine wear and tear and usage so everything is averaged out to come up with a reasonable price some times it can seem like it's a little more and sometimes it can be a little less, but know matter how I say it $20 is not worth either one of us being unhappy especially my customer they are my business and every one of them are as important to me like my family so what ever it is that I can do please let me know how about I give you $50 off your next service just save this email and give it to me next time you use us, so I hope this helps I need your reviews HAHA! . Pease let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.  Thank You for allowing us to serve you!

From: Me  Date:11/08/2013 5:14 PM (GMT-08:00) To: Brian Hafner  Subject: Re: Clogged kitchen drain  You need to understand that as a single income homeowner, I am I'm trying to be a good steward of my finances.  Thus, I feel compelled to ask, as I do feel the fees were indeed high.  In your first sentences, you indicate that there was overtime.  If such were the case, this should not be if the young man wasn't already sent home for the day and the 3:30 appointment had been kept.  Further, there still isn't a response to the initial request of the advertised 15% internet discount which was mentioned before the bill was tallied and also in the pursuant email.  Nonetheless, I cannot take your offer for a $50 on the next visit, as I can't see the wisdom of a return visit at this juncture.  I'm sure this is a case of caveat emptor. Thank you for your time.

11/19/2012 12:05 p.m., Brian Hafner wrote.  Hi, If you remember we always give at least a 2 hour  and you said you will just be home after 3:30 and I told you that we would see you after 3:30 which means we would be there not exactly at 3:30 it means your 2 hour window is 3:30-5:30 our normal business hours are 7:30-5:00 so If we get to a house at 4th and the work takes 2.5 hours 1 hour is regular time and 1.5 is overtime we cannot dictate how long it's going to take you had heavy sludge that the problem and as for him being already sent home for the day I don't know how you come up with this he was sent home earlier because we were waiting for 3:30  he was on a break and doesn't get of until 5:00 if he told you he was at home it's not because he was off this is what happens when people book late inin the afternoon thinking it's only going to take an hour and the job turns out to take longer because it is worse than we thought, I understand that money tight and don't feel it was an excessive charge if you would have calls on like rotor rooter it would of been $350 and above and they would have tried to sell you a new line. Anyways I don't want you to be unhappy so please tell me what you would like me to do what do you think is fair.

Response from BRYCO PLUMBING INC.

"I am so sorry you had a bad experience that was not my intention and responding over text messages can really misrepresent what you really mean, you have always been a great and very fair customer and I kept asking what you felt was fair even at the end of my very last text I truly meant that I want to give you your 15% and also address how much you feel you were over charged I am willing to take care of this and want you to feel you got a fare deal, I hope I can make this better!"

My home was vibrating and it scared me to death. I called Bryco, they came right out and quoted me a price. They stuck to the original price quoted even though the project took much longer than expected. Bryan and David were both very professional.

My husband messed it up. He was going to do the plumbing himself. We called this company, as we have used them in the past and service been excellent. They were here within an hour and a half. They looked it over, told me what it would cost, told them to go ahead and do it as it seemed very reasonable. Everything is working now.

Actually hired Bryco twice. The first time they extended a gas line for me so that I could hook up my dryers. The previous owner had some crazy system with the vent duct going over the front of the dyer. Bryco moved the gasoline so that the dyer could be vented properly. I hired them again about a month later. My son re-tiled my bathroom for me, but the bath fixtures wouldn't fit when he tried to hook up the bath fixtures because the wonderboard was too thick. He tried extending the pipe, but couldn't figure it out. I had Byrco fix it. They did a great job, complemented my son's tile job and were very nice. I had the same crew both times. They were very friendly and professional.

Brian sent a guy immediately that located the problem and gave me an estimate that was 50% less than another plumbing company did, was able to find the exact location to dig, and finished the same day leaving no mess and even put the grass back where they dug the ditch.

The initial evaluation was for a $350-job for the replacement of a small section of the pipe. Since the house is on a slab foundation and the line went down into the ground and out to the gas meter, a new line had to be installed going through the attic. I knew that would be the case and even had another evaluation and estimate done earlier with the same conclusion. Since the installer was already there and they met the price of the earlier bid, I went ahead with this company. They wrote down and explained the specifics of the job and called in 2 more helpers who brought out the materials. They require 50% to start and 50% at completion.
