I am very happy with them, they also give you the option whether to replace the whole thing now or give a rebuild. I am fine with the price, I have checked things out online and it's fine.

Why they didn't match the dealer in their assessment, see at the fifty thousand miles the dealer told me one thing, they did not match the dealer in the diagnosis but this was a year ago regarding the water pump which I had replaced. It was very well done and  I would return and that is important.

I've been using them for the last 10 years. They seem to be pretty honest. They should be more careful about cleanliness.

They only have one reference point.

I really didnt get much chance to inspect the car before and after. Dealer said there was a water leak, and I bought it. Brought it to these guys and they said yes there is a leak, and price was 400 which was close to dealer's. Anyways, I did it, but these guys kinda are expensive

This is the only place I go to. I really like the workers. They get me in right away.  I trust what they tell me. They take care of what needs to be done.

They are clean and they keep your car tidy.

We're taken our cars to Tom for years.  Good place to keep your car running reliably.

We have been going to automotive instincts for years.  They are reliable and helpful in determining priorities.  Prices are not cheap but more reasonable than dealer.

After getting a quote from one mechanic, we decided to go to another for a second opinion.  I'm not sure why but my girlfriend chose this one as she's the primary driver of the car.  They informed us that some of the things the other mechanic was trying to fix were in fact not broken / in need of repair, found the actual issue that DID need repair (which the other mechanic hadn't found) and repaired the car extremely fast.  It's not like a dealership repair department with a lounge and couches -- very bare bones establishment that's focus is fixing cars, which is how it should be.  would recommend and use again.

This was a somewhat complicated job involving repair to a wheel and suspension system damaged in an accident. Work was completed on time and on estimate.  We have had no problems with the work done and the alignment seems to be fine. They are not the cheapest shop, although they are less expensive than dealers. The quality of their work and service is worth a little extra expense to us.

Had lots of work done on my 2000 Mazda Miata.  Everything went great and will I will be using them from now on.  Knowledge, customer service and expertise all excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thank you, Angie's List!!!!!

I had taken my Acura MDX to a dealer inquiring about some "transmission noise".  The dealer said nothing was wrong with the transmission but the motor mounts were cracked, the CVJ boots were torn and the front end stabilzer links were broken.  They wanted about 2500$ to fix it all.   I declined and found Automotive Instincts on Angie's List.   They were 200$ less for the motor mounts, could not find any tears in the CVJ boots and said the price the dealer quoted would have replaced the whole front end stabilzer bars, not just the links. The did the work, kept me well informed, were very personable to deal with and had the work done when promised. Just went back to them to fix the transmission that the dealer said was fine.

I use them always and they have been great. I like everything about them and they are honest and good. Everything looks awesome. I would definitely recommend them.

We had pretty good interaction most of the time. I was disappointed the last time I was there with my Lexus because there seemed to be a lot of work they could have told me about especially since I took it in so frequently. I no longer take my Lexus there but I do take my husband?s Toyota.

They have always been very honest. They are very good at diagnosing my Lexus car. I have had a few problems and they have always fixed it. They only use authorized Lexus parts which is good. They are very reasonably priced too. They don?t charge as much as the dealership, but we get the same quality product.

I told them to look at the air filter and he pulled it out and told me it was still good; there was no attempt to sell me something that I didn?t need.
