Okay, I never write reviews, but I had to this time because Seth is amazing. I moved into my house 6 months ago and the day after we moved in, our doorbell stopped working. 3 electricians later (2 of whom were through my home warranty), the doorbell still isn't working. They tried everything and they just couldn't find the transformer to fix the doorbell. In comes Seth....his first visit, he diagnosed the problem and then had to order parts. A few weeks later once the parts come in, he comes over and within 1 hour it is fixed...he solved a problem that others thought were impossible. He's my doorbell savior and it's just in time....all those trick or treaters now can ring my doorbell for some candy.....THANK YOU SETH!!! Affordable, knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly, can fix the problem - what more could I possibly ask for?

They are excellent to work with. They worked around our schedule and the other trades involved. They had no problem with the project extending through a 9 month construction project.

My home is pre-1900 and still has some remnant nob and tube wiring.  I was having my roof replaced so thought I would address the attic wiring.  JG came out and confirmed the nob and tube in my 2nd floor attic was no longer hot.  They advised I could leave it or remove it myself to save money.  I decided to pull it out myself.
Our side and front porch lights were also fed by nob and tube wiring.  JG confirmed they could replace during the re-roof process.  Access was much easier during this time.
I finally asked them to look at the wiring in my basement.  I advised that I plan to make a lot of basement modificatiosn in the near future and they suggested I wait until then to replace the wiring.  They confirmed it is is good enough condition to wait for a year or so and would be happy to come back and replace when needed.  They didn't want to do work only to have to have it redone later and cost me more money.  I was very impressed with their approach to the work.  They are very honest and responsive.
When I found out the re-roof scheduling I called them to schedule the electrical work.  Even though they are quite busy they made time to do the work.  The day they showed up I asked if they could run some lights in both attics so added to their work.  They were very flexible and said they could accomodate.  They ended up re-wiring the existing on day 1 of the re-roof and came back on day 2 to run the lights.
I'm extremely impressed with the work that they performed, the approach to their trade and honesty.  I would use them again for large or small projects and highly recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work done!
Cost for re-wiring and adding 2 lights will be less than $400.00.  Amazing!

We didn't have a lot of time to get the work done but they nailed it. I reached out to James on a Friday and he came out to the site on Saturday. Had a quote in hand on Monday and they completed the work less than a week later. After the fact, we ran into a few challenges (most of our equipment is 3-phase and the plugs were wired backwards). James came out on a Saturday and got everything squared away in about 15-minutes. He's checked in a couple of times since just to make sure we're good. We will certainly be using JG for all of our electrical needs.

The job went very well.  James and his crew were great to work with.  They worked with us to schedule work so that we could make a June opening.  They came in early and on weekend to make our schedule fit with thiers.   James was generous to donate $300 of in kind labor to support the Non profit art center so that we could fit the electrical work within our budget and his.  I liked the fact that he bid time and materials on parts of the job that he didn't know how much work was involved because fortunately for us this work took only 5 min. to track down so we saved money.  We would and will have JG Electric come back to install more gallery lights.  They  guys were great, polite, clean and efficient.

They were right on time. They were done before they said they would be done. The price seemed fair but we haven't used an electrician in a long time. We think they were charging what everybody else does.
