Great. I have hired him now for: landscaping, hardscaping, pavers, irrigation, weekly gardening, maintenance and seasonal rearranging.

I was pleased with the clean up, so after the job was done, I got an estimate for monthly service. It was double what we had been paying, & Ruben negotiated it down, which was appreciated. After the clean up, Ruben told me he found a problem with the irrigation system and that he would be back a few days later to fix it; he also told me that he would bring over a variety of plants for me to choose from. He did neither of those things. I called and called & after the 3rd call, got someone on the phone who told me that they were passing the messages along. I don't understand what kind of business doesn't return calls & obviously doesn't appreciate new clients. I am VERY disappointed, mostly because I have now wasted 2 weeks waiting on Ruben and could have been looking for someone else; the lawn is in horrible shape again & things are dying because the irrigation is broken. A simple call back to say that they were too busy would have been fine. I find this highly unprofessional.

After having a lackluster experience with the gardener who had been maintaining the yard at my new house I did some research via Angie's List and met with a handful of gardeners. Ruben Professional Gardening blew me away with their knowledge of plants, friendliness and ideas for improving our yard. We had our first visit yesterday and thankfully my instincts were right, in just one visit my yard looks 100 times better than it did before. I'm incredibly happy with them and thankful to the person who originally submitted them to Angie's List.

HE DOES A GOOD JOB. HE COMES OUT AND MOWS THE LAWN AND TRIMS. HE KEEPS THE PLACE PRESENTABLE. I SUPPOSE HE HAS A WORK ETHIC. HE DOES A GOOD JOB, AND IF HE DIDN'T HE WOULD NOT GET ANY BUSINESS.

THEY ARE A NICE BUNCH. THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO COME ON TUESDAY AND THEY DO. THEY LEAVE THE PLACE TIDY AND THEY ARE PLEASANT. IF THERE IS SOMETHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY, THEY WILL FIX IT IF WE ASK THEM.
