Absolutely the most unprofessional and unreliable company I have ever worked with. They are crooks and will waste your time and money and on top of that lie to your home warranty company stating there are missing parts so they will deny the claim only because you asked them to get their estimate in even though it's taken them 3 weeks after their initial visit. Go elsewhere for any of your HVAC needs!

I am sad to say Relaxed Heating and Air does not stad by their work. Our issue was not that something broke but that something was not installed correctly in the first place. They installated a complete replacement HVAC for us four years ago. The backup condensation drain pipe has begun leaking through our roof overhang because it was routed to nothing. In other words, instead of draining into a waste pipe or outside, it just ended in the attic, directing water into the roof boards. This is something that could easily go unnoticed by the homeowner because its a backup and doesn't kick into use unless the primary drain gets clogged. We called them and thay said they'll take no responsibility unless we caught it within 30 days of installation.

BEWARE THIS “HVAC” Company is a SThe worst “HVAC” company ever, so those unprofessional guys, came over my elderly parents house trough our home insurance after their Split unit stoped working in a middle of a heat wave, the “technician” came over and asset the situation, he informed me that the problem is a valve in the condenser, and he wrote the report to the insurance, I asked him if they’re going to fix the valve and he’s response were “for those units - no way, we will recommend to replace it” I haven’t heard back from them for a week, then I contact the insurance and they told us that Relaxed (more like - getting on you nerves) haven’t submitted the report yet, contacting today to the office , I was informed that the unit wasn’t informed “by the code” and needed to be 3 feet from the wall (which a complete BS because after I consulted with a few HVAC professional, and city official the HVAC was installed perfectly by the code) so what do we have her , slacky management with paperwork, lying dispatcher that make excuses rolling the responsibility to the insurance company, said that they were submitting the report to the insurance on the 19th which is a miracle because the “technician” was there on the 23rd , and the worst is un professional technician that didn’t wanted to fix and preform a real technician valve instead was laying to the insurance the he had no access to fix a split unit , (split condenser that weight 50lbs, a 30by 18 inches device )and let two elderly suffer in a middle of a heat wave and a pandemic for 3 weeks without AC. I’m just disappointed that the state of California and the department of labor licenses to those unprofessionals to work with people and to work with insurance companies.

I received an AHS home warranty with the purchase of a condo. When the AC didn't work, AHS sent Relaxed Heating and Air. At the first visit, the repairman said he needed to charge me $80 for "coolant" which wasn't covered by the warranty and said that AHS would not allow him to test anything else until he had put in the coolant. He didn't even look at the part of the unit that is inside the condo, only looked outside. He put it in and presented a bill for $123! This obviously didn't stop the noise and didn't cool the condo. I called AHS who said they would send them back and "If it is the same problem according to the technician, you won't be charged another $75." Visit 2, claimed it needed a new motor. He took the part numbers and said he needed to clean the unit for $280. I said no. I got multiple phone calls from the office about how you shouldn't put a new motor in a dirty housing and how I should pay for it. "Technician" came back and had the wrong part which didn't fit....said he'd get the right part first thing in the morning and set up another appointment. Got more phone calls from office about cleaning. I said no. Next day, I called the office; they claimed they couldn't contact the technician by phone or text, so I called AHS. Funny thing, 10 minutes later, they said the tech was on the way. Visit 4, he put in new motor with correct part. He told ME to "turn off the breaker." (Pretty brave--isn't it HIS job to make sure it is off?) New motor runs (old motor ran too). Condo still doesn't get cool. I called another company, fully knowing that AHS wouldn't cover it. They did not know what company had been there before but were shocked at the "cleaning" story. They said that any time they install a part, they clean the housing, area, or whatever as part of the installation and that cleaning the housing amounted to 5 minutes with a hand held vacuum. They also said he should have cleaned the fans while he had them out, using the hose that is right outside the condo and the dirty water would have run down the drain right there. They did say that there was a chemical cleaning available, but that just rinsing them off with the hose would have done 95% of the cleaning. The new company evaluated the system while wearing their masks and paying attention to social distancing. They confirmed that the new motor was running correctly by using a thermometer (Relaxed tech didn't do that). He gave me his recommendation, and said that he wanted one of his superiors to recheck his work and give me an estimate, probably the next day. He gave me the man's name. About an hour later, I got a phone call asking if he could come between 3 and 5 that same day. He showed up promptly--again, mask, distancing. Checked EVERYTHING. Took measurements, and said he would have to check on availability. E-mailed me a quote less than 24 hours later. I reviewed all the HOA rules with them. Yes, he knew all he rules, they had installed a new AC for the HOA president and work on most of the units in the building. I'm totally happy with everything the new company did. Bottom line--the AC was original equipment in the building and needed to be replaced. My opinion--AHS sends the cheapest company they can get, and Relaxed Air they tries to get additional money from the client while not getting the job done. I would stay as far away as possible from Relaxed Air!

They spotted and fixed the problem immediately. 3 other companies sent by the insurance company missed the problem entirely. They did a great job!

The technician basically took a can of condenser coil cleaner and sprayed one side of the condenser and rinsed with water. I discovered later that the condenser coil wrap around the ac so i had to redo it myself to thoroughly clean it. Do not buy this so call AC tuneup service from this company, total waste of money and your time.

Took a month to get them to Come and when they did the tech didn't even inspect the Air Con unit. He wasn't very fit and didn't come with prepared with a ladder to climb on the roof to inspect the unit. Waste Of time and $

They failed. They did not have intake routine in their service. They had a long delay. Even though they fixed our air conditioner through our insurance. After that we ended up having to replace the whole air conditioner. The duration for the referral was something around 6 months. It took 6 months for them to repair something, back and forth, back and forth, and then at the end they took the new air conditioner away and we had to install a new air conditioner with a new company. Relaxed installed a new one but they did not install it correctly so we ended up using a new air conditioner company at the end because we had such a difficult time with them. I was not satisfied. Too much delay for the repairs. They were too busy and slow responding. They don't have a good management at all. They don't do the follow up. They don't respond and delay for repair.

Felt the technician was knowledgeable but I was being overcharged. Minimum charges no matter how much work done. Did not honor coupon even though I felt certain minor work was covered by coupon? Paid up charge once they were there. Had to find a different provided do to high price of repair.

HE SHOWED UP AND I HAD THE PRINTOUT LISTING ALL THE THINGS THAT WOULD BE DONE AND HE SAID THAT THE TUNEUP HE WAS GOING TO DO DIDN'T INCLUDE EVERYTHING LISTED. HE DID SPRAY THE COILS WITH A CHEMICAL AND HOSED IT ALL CLEAN BUT HE WOULD NOT OIL THE CONDENSER FAN EVEN THOUGH IT WAS LISED ON THE ADD THAT AN OIL AND LUBE WOULD BE DONE. WHEN I QUESTIONED HIM ON IT, HE CALLED HIS MANAGER AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY DON'T DO THAT ON A TUNEUP AND THAT ANGIE'S LIST PRINTED THE WRONG INFO ON THE ADD. ORIGINALLY, HE STATED IF IT WAS PRINTED ON THE ADD, THEY WOULD DO IT BUT THEN HE RENEGED. HE STATED HE WAS AN ENGINEER AND THAT HE WOULDN'T GET PAID FOR TAKING THE TIME TO OIL.

The technician arrived promptly. And within minutes he found the problem. The AC has been working well since he was there about a month ago. He couldn't believe the other AC companies missed the problem.
