Mike is the most helpful, friendly and supportive person I could imagine to help us though this house sale.  We were selling our Mom and Dad's house after they both passed away and it was an emotional time.  Mike made the whole experience easy and calm, taking care of everything but never being pushy.

Mike Stone is a friendly, hardworking and experienced Realtor that I highly recommend.  As out of state home sellers, it was nerve racking to try and find a realtor and sell a property remotely. Mike responded to my initial email within 1 day with thorough, well thought out answers to long list of my questions that demonstrated his depth of knowledge and experience with real estate. After personally interviewing him and one other agent, we chose Mike, an independent real estate agent with a personal touch over someone from one of the big real estate firms (probably more worried about making their monthly quotas). Throughout the process Mike always made time for us; it seemed as if we were his only client, which I know isn?t true. I couldn?t have been happier with our decision!

Mike worked closely with our property manager to gain access to the home while our tenants still occupied the property, and again once the tenants vacated, to thoroughly inspect the home (with pictures) and gave us sound honest feedback about the property condition. He gave us great advice on which repairs and upgrades would give us the biggest return on our investment and what styles most buyers were looking for. He setup a lockbox for our vendors and checked in on the property periodically to see how things were progressing.

I was pretty hands on during the process, with lots of questions and Mike always made time to discuss strategies with me, where we could weigh the positives and negatives about some major decisions. Mike prepared a comprehensive ?comparative market analysis? of our property, provided good insight into the real estate appraisal process and helped us come up with a list price that even in hind?s sight I?m not sure we could have picked any better. We received multiple offers and accepted one significantly above list price. The closing process was a breeze; Mike put all our documents into DocuSign and even caught errors introduced by the buyers agent! It?s true there is some luck in this process, but I?m confident that a lot had to do with the careful planning and insights from Mike. I give Mike my highest recommendation and hope you seriously consider giving him an opportunity to represent you.

We contacted several potential agents and were impressed with Mike's credentials.  He is a licensed real estate broker and Realtor, with his own office and with years of experience.  After meeting with him we were impressed by his listening skills, knowledge and sensible approach. We asked him to help us think through what was needed and appropriate to be done to our rental to get it ready to sell.  As a result of these conversations, we decided not to do any major internal remodeling, but focus on items of deferred maintenance and exterior cleanup. This was mainly because comparables in the development indicated that we would not be able to add significant value with a major (expensive!) remodel.
While this project was underway, we saw a recently remodeled condo listed on Zillow and contacted him to show it to us.  We fell in love!  It had been basically stripped to the studs and rebuilt. The condo is a lower floor corner unit, nicely shaded in summer by the well-kept landscaping. It was also listed at significantly over other units in the complex.  Again, Mike was helpful in discussing offer options with us.  We made an all cash offer well below list and also below our max (still well below list).  The process involved counter offers and the knowledge that the owners were considering another offer.  We came back with a 'best and final' at our max and got the place! I'm sure Mike's negotiating skills helped get us there.
When it came time to list our rental, Mike suggested we list it at the max that I thought we could get, with the idea that we could always reduce price.  His insight into what was going on in the market was amazing.  We got over ten strong offers in three weeks and ended up selling for all cash at more than 10% over list!
