Had to use them because our home warranty company sent them. First it took 3 days until they could even show up. Not good when you are doing without water in your kitchen sink. Plumber showed up and said it was a "faucet issue" that wasn't covered under our home warranty. But that we could fix it ourselves if we went down to the hardware store because he didn't have time to do it even at the estimated $225 (on top of the deductible that we had given him already) and that we would have to reschedule him because the company had "jammed him up with too many appointments".

Wow. Good thing he didn't actually have to do any work besides taking our deductible check, otherwise he would have really been behind schedule.  

Turns out the "faucet issue" was a compression fitting that needed replacing. I could be wrong, but there is a big difference between a standard plumbing part, and something that is actually an integral part of the faucet. Don't these guys carry compression fittings in their trucks? Pretty much a job that would take less than 1/2 an hour if you had the part.

The water heater started leaking into the garage.  My home warranty company called Boyle Plumbing, and they set up an appt for the next day.  They were on time and professional.  After it was installed, the plumber explained to me how the water heater works and asked if I had any questions.  Update: the water heater did not pass home inspection -- the closet door would not close. They replaced the water heater with one that fit and all is well.

We spent about $1,000 on that work. The product still works, but I had to use my home warranty for it.

They were fair. They were not responsive to me. The job was finished months ago, an they told me at the end of the job that they would find me some parts for my water heater and they have not. They were punctual for the most part. There were a few times when they did not come out on time.
