+ -1 moreThe workers destroyed my wood railing but didn't want to tell me so the owner recommended new wrought iron, which was much more than I wanted to pay. I have no idea if the dry rot part of the work was done competently; I suppose I'll know in a few years. But the owner offered to pay for part of the wrought iron work since they could not reuse my wood railing. Then he refused to reimburse me for his share once the work was done. Basically, he's dishonest.
Description of Work: Balcony on second story had dry rot. Deteriorated waterproof surface had to be removed, along with railing. Dry rot had to be removed, and new structural wood installed. Spray for mold & mildew, and replace deck surface. Clean up and haul away debris. Paint as necessary.
