Was in an accident. The driver of the other vehicle pulled into our lane and hit the side of us, He lied and said we pulled into him.
AAA evidently was not able to figure out who was at fault, so they rated it 50-50. We had to pay our $500 deductible to get our new car fixed. He had an old truck with no damage to it so he paid nothing. We thought the pictures of our damage would show who was at fault, but we don't think they even bothered to look at them. He also had AAA. I was sitting on the passenger side and saw him coming toward us. It really upsets me that they did not investigate it more thoroughly and if they had found him at fault, AAA would have had to pay for the deductible on his behalf, but by saying it was 50-50, they did not have to pay it. Now we have an accident on our record and changing insurance providers would be very expensive for us. So we feel trapped and feel that an injustice has been done, but we can't do anything about it. So, there you go.
