+ -1 moreWhen I dropped off my vacuum at their shop, the man warned me that he may have to replace the entire cord winder assembly at a cost of around $200, parts and labor. Two days later he called to say he was done; he'd figured out that the problem was simply that the cord winder contacts weren't in the correct position. Not only was the vacuum fixed quickly and less expensively than expected, but he cleaned it up, too.
Description of Work: Diagnosed and fixed the problem on my vacuum cleaner, which was that the cord winder contacts were not positioned correctly to deliver power to the motor circuits. As a result, the vacuum would only turn on and off intermittently.
