Excellent service, diagnosis, and results. All employees were efficient, knowledgeable and considerate.  The prices quoted were the prices billed, and the prices seemed reasonable.  The job was completed quickly without any additional clean-up on my part required.  I would hire them again.

A fellow named Rennie Gronos came out first to assess the issues. Here's what needed to be done and was performed: a new duct and register was needed to correct the air balance issue; needed secondary drain connection to run pipe over the window, replace existing bar type registers with 3-way curve blade registers and move master bath fan closer to shower. We arranged a date for the work to be done. A two man crew arrived. They were professional and courteous. The work was completed in a few hours. Here's the part I really liked. The master bathroom fan was moved so there was a big cut out in the ceiling where the fan had been located. One of the workmen covered it up and then a drywall-plasterer came out a few days later and patched it up, smoothing it beautifully. Painters were scheduled a few days later so it all worked well. I like that professional drywall patching is part of the total cost. A few days later Rennie returned to inspect the work of the first crew. He noted that one of our bathroom exhaust fans had not been connected to an outside vent and that it had been corrected by the first crew. I was very impressed by this company. The women who answer the phone and schedule appointments, the team of workmen and Rennie. The workmen donned paper booties when they entered our home. Love that!! I also signed up for a preventive maintenance plan, so when Rennie returned to inspect the finished work, he also performed the HVAC system maintenance.

The heating and air conditioning, I didn't get him from Angie's List,  and I would never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever recommend him to somebody who was in a dog house.  It took him over a year to do it, the permit expired, he had to redo the permit.  It was a nightmare.  They were Greenleaf Heating & Cooling.  I contacted him about like September of 2014 and they finished it around the same time 2015.  I found out that I was an experiment and that they had never done this type of mini slip, the kind they've got, you know how like you go to the hotel and there's that bar thing up above the ceiling and air conditioning and heating comes out of it?, it's similar to that, except the cooling and heating unit is up in the attic and then they duct it to the different rooms and then there's zones that have their own thermostat so say the kitchen and the bedroom I could have it at 80 degrees and the living room I can have at 60 or whatever.  They installed it and it didn't have enough air pressure, then they had to change some ducting out.  The drip tray wasn't drained properly, or whatever the case may be but anyways it filled up and over flowed and go my ceiling wet and then there was a little bowl hanging from the ceiling filled with water.  That happened in a couple of spaces.  I just went up there a month or so ago and the peel and stick stuff they use was all over the place, so they left a mess.   The actual thermostat itself, it's on the wall, the one that was first installed was really complicated and you could barely read it, you had to have a flashlight just to read it.  It had features that weren't relevant  to take our type of heater and air conditioner.  So I told them about it and after a while he finally got the one that was more built for my heater and it lights up, it's really simple.  Where they took the old thermostat out and put the new one in there's a screw hole that needs to be patched, no big deal.  It was an ordeal let's put it that way.  They ended up charging me $6000.  I helped do some of the electrical work too to save myself some money which is a deal they offered me and I took it.  The first test they did on the ducting I paid for too, which was two, three, four hundred dollars.
Response from GREENLEAF HEATING & COOLING
"Hello Mr. [Member Name Removed]. I am the new General Manager of Greenleaf and I want to take the time to respond to your review. First, I want to express my apologies for any dissatisfaction you have for us. I reviewed your project and found that there were some delays in finishing your project. Unfortunately, not every project can go as expected, I think any contractor in any field can attest to that. I understand that the property had other physical issues, but that shouldn't take away from our responsibility. I am glad that your system was resolved after the problems arose and that your tenants are comfortable."

I am writing to express my thanks to the staff at Greenleaf Heating and Cooling. It had just gotten cold and i went to turn my furnace for the first time this season and it would work. A neighbor of mine referred me to Greenleaf because they service her unit regularly. I spoke to Amy at Greenleaf over the phone and she was very polite as she scheduled me for an appointment the next day. I was surprised and pleased when she called me back a couple of hours later to let me know that there was an opening that same day.
I am very pleased with the service and even signed up for the maintenance program like my neighbor has with them
A warm customer for life , Michelle

I would like to express how pleased and grateful I am to have had Greenleaf heating and cooling come out and install my new system.  I had multiple estimates and when Doug came out to meet with me, I felt comfortable right away.  He explained to me the process and options very clearly and I was amazed how two other contractors said I needed  4-ton unit and Doug said that I only needed a 3-ton for my 1500 sqft home.  He explained why 30ton was sufficient and how a 4-ton can be less efficient.  By the way, Greenleaf was not the lowest estimate, but I was convinced that this was the right company.
After I decided to go with Greenleaf, the company manager came out and took measurements of every room and designed the new system.  He explained very clearly the process and answered all my questions.  The crew showed up the next day and were very polite and explained to me the details of the work.  They laid down drop cloths and were very neat and clean.  After the system was competed in a timely 3 days, the lead installer, Jose, patiently explained to me the system and how to use the new thermostat.  Now my home is very comfortable and the system is so quiet.
My thanks and gratitude to Doug and his crew.  I will definitely recommend Greenleaf to anyone.

I am so pleased with everyone at Greenleaf heating and cooling beginning with Mr. Farnik who came to my home at my convenience and presented me an estimate with 3 different choices after he reviewed my home and existing system and explained to me what my options were. He explained everything in a way that was very clear to me and made my decision very easy. I chose the mid-range system which is a Goodman 4-ton system with a 16 SEER outside unit and a 90% efficiency furnace. Jose, Richard and Jose showed up in the morning of the installation with booties on their feet to cover there shoes and Jose explained everything that was going to happen that day. They proceeded to lay down drop cloths and set up a ladder and went to work. They were all very polite and extremely clean for this type of work. I've had work done at my home for other things by others in the past and the mess was disappointing. They finished in a timely basis and I was surprised that they got it all done in one day, I thought it would be a minimum of 2. Jose explained the new system to me and how to operate the nice new thermostat while the others cleaned up and left my home as if they were never there. The only evidence of them being in my home was the fact that I was feeling comfortable in my cool home with a new condenser outside that I couldn't hear anymore, (the last one sounded like an airplane was in my yard). Thanks to all of you at Greenleaf including the office staff that were kind and informative of the installation process including the HERS rater and inspections. I wouldn't hesitate to refer them to my family and friends.

They are really great. They come out and do an inspection for us and always call to remind us if we do not remember. They are just so nice. They heard I liked old music and brought me a CD. They keep up on you and send you information when you are due for stuff. They come out for appointments pretty fast too.

Technician Joe M. was on time, professional and very knowledgeable. Joe M. checked the roof unit several times before determining that the thermostat needed to be replaced. He also programmed the unit so that we should set it manually. That was a big plus for me along with the senior's discount. We will definitely hire The Dockstader's Group again and we'll ask for Joe M, too.

THE EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT. THEY CAME OUT TO GIVE THE ESTIMATE. WE CALLED THEM BACK A FEW DAYS LATER AND SAID WE WANTED THE WORK DONE. THEY COMMITTED TO A START DATE AND WERE HERE AS STATED. THEY FINISHED IN 2 1/2 DAYS INSTEAD OF 3 DAYS.

WE MOVED INTO A NEW HOUSE, AND NEEDED CENTRAL AIR. SO WE CALLED IN, AND THEY CAME WITH EASE, AND INSTALLED THE AIR CONDITIONING. IT WAS A NO HASSLE PROCESS.
