We hired Eric when we converted a laundry room to a bathroom. He was hired to tile the floor , cabinet top and install shower pan and tile shower. He finished the job and over the next couple of weeks. When he finished we noticed several things that were wrong. The back splash was 1/2 uneven from corner to corner. Some glass in the shower was upside down. Several floor tiles were not level. nail holes in the front of the bathrrom cabinet. I called Eric and he said he would come out and fix everything. When he came out the next day he said he liked the tiles in the shower , he liked variety. I said only 2 areas are upside down that is not variety. He said we should have noticed it earlier and he would have to charge us to take them down. He told my husband he did not make the nail holes in the cabinet. He replaced the floor tiles but said it was because the floor was not level. He replaced the back spalsh but when we asked him to mitre the corners he said it was to late. and no one mitres corners. I also had to spend $65.00 for more tile trim. He then told me he did make the holes in the cabinet but since my husband used to hang cabinets he could repair them. When he left I replaced the glass in the shower and removed several more floor tiles and trim. My tiles lay flat and are level. I still have several more tiles that are not level . The edges of the tile in front of the cabinet are not even. some of the tile touch the cabinet others are 1/2 inch away. He said to install a thick trim and it should cover. It is really sad that someone with 40 years of experience pays so little attention to details. Details are what make the job. If you make a mistake admit it don't blame the floor, his level or the weather. . It was hot and he knew we had no air conditioning. He also left a mess in the back yard rocks where he dumped and cleaned his equipment. When he left he said. " I hope you don"t give me a bad reference on google"
