Aaron, the owner, came to our home to review the project for pricing. His inspection of our home and explanation of how the repipe would be performed was thorough and accurate. AW & Sons did not have the lowest price of the bids we received but we rated their bid as best value in terms of price, responsiveness and supplier review. The project started right on schedule. AW & Sons' crew was courteous and ensured our property was protected. They worked quickly and thoroughly. As with all refurb work there were unexpected problems but the crew worked through them professionally. The repipe was finished in two working days as planned. All finished work looks to be high quality and is functioning well. The work of the drywall patch sub-contractor, Josh Turner of Turner Restoration, was included in the contract price. His work was exemplary and I will review him separately.

I used them after seeing a big 4 page red advertisement in the phone book. They came in a big red truck. It was painted the same red color as the advertisement. They have a very good PR person. They had to come 5 times. Every time they came back, he created another problem. I had a water leak in the sink downstairs. They came and replaced that little 2 ring things which sprang a leak. So I told him that I did not want another leak. I had them replace the rings in every bathroom and in every sink in the house so that this does not happen again. It was on a Monday. He said that he would come back on Wednesday. He called me on Tuesday and said that the job would take too long and that he would come on Thursday. My sister-in-law was having a cancer surgery on Thursday. So we rescheduled for the following Wednesday. However, on Wednesday evening before my sister-in-law?s surgery, the sink in the upstairs bathroom began to leak. I called him and he came and fixed it. I had already signed a contract for all the repair work. The amount was about $900. He still charged me for that trip. After he left, I found that there was not hot water in that sink. He came on Wednesday, the day he had scheduled a visit, to do all the work. One his first trip he sprang a leak and after his second trip I did not have hot water in the sink. On his third trip he increased his job. He did not work on a faucet in the bathroom properly. After he left I had a water pressure problem. I would go through 2 or 3 hours with no water in the house. I called him back. He said it would take hours to find the problem. My husband had kept a couple of sticks handy around the house. My husband went out and looked at the outside water sink. I don?t know what he did but he fixed it. After that if there was water in the yard, there was no water in the house and if there was water in the house there was no water in the yard. I called him a couple of weeks later because the shy he fixed in the bathroom was leaking almost a bucket of water a day. My husband told me that I did not need all the things he had fixed on the first visit. We called him out thinking something was very wrong and could be very expensive. Later another plumber came and had a look. He replaced some things which were probably defective. So they had created a new problem every time he came to ensure he had another job. The first time he came was in January. It took about 3 weeks of work and his last visit was probably in February.
