Aki's Lawn Mower Shop

I toolk my garden rototiller to AKI'S Lawnmower Serice the last week of March 2013 for repairs to the drive belt system. The piece of equipment was accepted and I was told it would be approximately a week for the repair to be completed. I returned one week later to find the repairs had not been made. I was told they were very busy and it would take alittle longer. I returned a week later and the repairs were still not complete, however I noticed my unit had not moved but the unit around my machine were different. I was told by the owners mother her son Steve was very busy and he also has another job. I asked when my machine would be ready I was told another week. I returned again a week later and was told they did not want to make the repairs that they were very busy and the repairs to my mahine would take too much time. I became very angry at this time as I had wasted three plus weeks waiting on the machine and then Steve Shimahara which I believe to be the owner did not want to make the repairs because of time issues. He said he could repair several lawnmower in the time it would take to fix my rototiller. I asked or should I say I demanded to know why I had not been told this three weeks ago. All I was told was sorry but we do not want to make the repairs. I had wasted almost a month for repairs I finally had to make myself. I have used this company for years and had received excellent service. However with the Steve Shimahara in charge the attitude has changed. I resent being lied to for three weeks, tell me up front you do not want to do the work or can not do the work. Also since Steve has another job perhaps he should stick with that job and hire some help. I stronly suggest you aovid AKI'S Lawnmower Repair on Greenleaf Ave, Whittier, CA. They have a problem with telling the truth and more than likely too busy to make the repairs you need.
