ORIENTAL WELDING IRON

Well, we certainly got what we paid for, ironically. This was a local contractor. My mother hired him because he was close by and thought she'd save money due to his reasonable estimate. In addition he speaks her native language. He wasn't listed on Angie's list. Hiring him was a bad mistake. Basically, he arrived on time and completed the project within a day (not always a good thing if their work was sloppy). The driveway gate and fencing looked decent. They didn't stick to the design my mother had specified for the ornamentals. More importantly, they installed the security doors wrong. We had specifically requested the ground clearance be 1 inch. Instead the gap was more like 6 inches. A dog could crawl underneath that space much less a cat. We also found that the one of the security doors did not close properly. We called them to fix the problems but they insisted it was fine the way it is. Very disappointing! Now we have to hire a handyman.

Update (11/26/11):  We used this company again because they are a good bargain.  Don't expect high quality work.  But they show up on time, don't give you the run around and completed the job in a timely manner.  We upgraded their grade to a B and would use them again in the future.
