K & P APPLIANCES

K& P Appliances added R22 and serviced our air conditioning unit in the winter time. Afterwards, it was never used until May, when weather was hot.  Six months after they serviced it, there was no cold air.  I called K&P twice about it, asking them to come without charging me again as it was never used after they serviced it.  The first call, the owner (Greg) refused to come without charging us a service charge, we then agreed that he would look at the problem before charging us anything.  When I texted him asking for an appointment, there was no reply.  When I called again and left a voicemail, he just completely ignored the call.  We got a different, very good AC company to come out, and it turns out that K&P did not tighten the service valve correctly and all of the R22 refrigerant leaked out.  We had to pay another $450 to completely refill the AC with R22 refrigerant.  I'm sorry we ever had K&P touch our AC unit.  The no response and ignoring of our calls reflect their poor attitude.
