DALE'S SHOE REPAIR & LEATHER SHOP

I carry a stack of business cards so I can refer Dale's Shoe Repair & Leather Shop because their quality is the best. They can fix anything, they can custom make anything you want, and they use quality materials. Their shop is a little old school and sometimes you have to call ahead to confirm your order is ready but they do outstanding work that is well worth it.

They shop is difficult to find in the strip mall (it is in a corner that looks like it belongs to another adjacent store). There was a strong smell of leather in the store, however (That' s all they sell). They tried some suggestive selling but politely didn't press the issue when we declined leather soaps and other such things.

They got the water spot completely out of the purse (both purses were Coach) and all the suede pieces looked like new when they were finished. The shoes looked like new as well. All the work was finished in about 2 weeks. I also took in a pair of leather boots to see if they could fix the heel, and I was told that it wouldn't be cost effective to have the heel fixed, as the material covering the heel was not leather like the upper, and it would be labor intensive. I thought it was great that they told me that up front instead of charging me $40 to fix a pair of boots I bought for $80. They were not worth the extra cost. All in all, everyone I dealt with was very polite, nice and professional.

THIS PLACE DID A GREAT JOB GETTING OUT THE STAINS, BUT THIS IS NO FANCY SET UP. THE PLACE HAS MANY LEATHER ITEMS FOR SALE AND IS RUN MORE LIKE A MOM AND POP SHOP THAN A BUSINESS.
