During rehab of the house, demo of fireplace facing, contractor noticed that there was daylight coming through the sides of the fireplace at the interior of the house. There was a separation along the chimney's exterior bricks and the stucco, and in one place, a plant found its way through the fireplace, into the house. I called several chimney repair companies.
