Westlake Village Animal Hospital

Do not go here!! Do not take your pet to this lower bar facility. It would be one of the biggest mistakes you can ever make. I left his hospital and went to Townsgate Pet Hospital. Townsgate Pet Hospital is so much better than the VCA Westlake. And your pet is treated so much better than this one star VCA facility. Quite honestly, Westlake VCA one of the worst professional and customer service experiences I’ve ever had!! I don’t know why I kept on giving VCA Westlake the time of day considering how bad they treat you and your pet. Gail and Shanon should be fired. They lack professionalism and customer service. If their corporate office only knew how they treat customers. It’s fortunate that there are so many amazing veterinarians in the area to choose from, like Townsgate Pet Hospital. So if you had to choose between a vet/hospital, or are new to the area go to Townsgate pet hospital. And whatever lame response I get back which I’m sure everybody will read, and will know it’s a fake response to the bad customer service. Because if they initially had good customer service this reviewing would not exist. Read how many bad reviews they have and how many pets have been hurt here. This is not a good facility and they definitely don’t treat you and your pet well. Do not spend your money at this low bar facility.

My dog was poisoned. I like them there. Price I think they are normal. Punctuality, they are pretty good about it. I would continue to use them.

They did some blood work and said, she's probably fine. And then they added that I should get her teeth cleaned. The estimate for that was 1000-2000 dollars. She looks very uncomfortable shaking so hard all the time. I was hoping for some helpful ideas. Instead, I got an attempt at an upsell. Very impersonal experience. They seemed not to care about my dog, just the $$$.

In addition to being seen twice yearly for rather routine stuff..........my dog needed to be seen at 6:00 PM on a Sunday. Luckily WAH has 24/7 care. The emergency vet was wonderful with both of us ............. reassuring Mom that my baby was going to be AOK. And, she was right ........... my baby came home the next day as if nothing had transpired.







On a regular basis, I'm very impressed with the front office personnel ........ obviously animal lovers, themselves. And, they have terrific 'bedside' manners for Mom..............very friendly, courteous, polite and professional.

I use them every three months. They are reasonably priced. They do everything well, but most of all, it is their bedside manner, not only for the dogs or the animals but to the parents. If your dog has to stay, they will connect with you anyway you want to be connected with. So, if you wanna text from the doctor, they will text you and you know how things are going. I have them facebook me and will give me updates on how my dog is doing. They are just great people. They are more like friends and not just the vets. The facility is outstanding and clean. They have amazing technology there, more than that you would see at regular vets.

The vet is a good vet. The environment is elegant. The prices are competitive. The staff is really friendly and they are open 24 hours.

My dog had a bad limp and they did what they could before referring us to a specialist. The specialist was able to take care of the issue and recommend a monthly treatment that has eliminated the problem. WAH provides the prescription and administers the injection on a monthly basis along with taking care of all of her other medical and vaccination needs.

We used their services for dog care. They were friendly. They were professional. Our overall experience with them was excellent.

It is an excellent facility. I use them all the time. The facility is magnificent and immaculate. The staff is wonderful. The fee is very typical and you get the value for your money. The price is competitive.

Everything was taken care of in a timely fashion. Overall, he is a good doctor.
