Excellent! i've used them several times because i am so pleased with their work. Affordable costs, prompt service.

Estimate (rec'd on 5/23) was accurate with no extra costs when job was done & coupon I found on website was accepted. 6-man crew came at 7:30am, instead of 9:30am, which was great because job was done by 9:30am & I could get on with my day. Olive tree looked great; shortened, thinned out & cut back so not hanging on roof, neighbors' yard or sidewalk. They filled in & leveled out ground where stump was removed.

Reynold came out at appointed time to give us a free estimate. We explained what we wanted & he advised us what would be best for the tree, but we could do whatever we wanted. He also measured our gate to make sure stump remover would fit thru & said the gate would need to be removed. He said they would do this, but my husband wanted to do it himself, which he did. I called the office later in the day because we forgot to ask when job could be done & if we could use their $50 coupon with the price quoted. Jacob said coupon could be used & they should be able to do job in a few days, but would call back to confirm date & time. 2 days later, Dale (it might be Gail, as my hearing isn't as good as it once was) called to ask if their crew could come the next day @ 9:30 - 11am, instead of original date estimate. She informed me that the crew foreman would be Salvador & I could talk to him if I had any concerns regarding the work being done. We were fine with new work date. Much to my surprise, the next day I was woken up @ 7:15am with saws buzzing away in front & back yards. Needless to say with the 6-man crew they sent, everything was done by 9:30am!! Our fruit tree & stump are gone & our olive tree looks lovely. Before they left Salvador asked me if everything was OK & after checking it out, I asked him to trim more from the property line, which he did. Clean up was well done. Everyone we came into contact with was very friendly & helpful.

Removing the eucalyptus was done on a Saturday due to the adjacent parking lot being empty. Tim and his crew arrived as scheduled and got to work right away. They were careful in cutting down such a huge tree (est.70 ft.) roping down the large trunk sections to assure that the concrete surface was not damaged. They dispatched the tree post haste and did a good job of cleaning everything up.

The following Monday Tim and the crew arrived on time once again and got ready to top off and trim all of the trees. I was very impressed with how the crew acted professional and asking if things were done the way we wanted to be done. There didn't seem to be any "slouches" or "goofing-off" they all were busy as bees and plugged ahead with the job. Tim was great at explaining things as they went along and accommodating our minor requests.

Thing went as planned, within cost and on schedule. I certainly would recommend Gold Coast to anyone that needs an arborist.

It went very well! Very professional, efficient, cleaned up well and the pricing is very fair.

We had moved into a home where the previous owners had incorrectly planted far too many trees and shrubs for the size of the yard. They had not installed proper irrigation, and the roots were coming up out of the ground. Not to mention they planted all ficus trees, which are the worst type of tree to plant in a small yard. We called Gold Coast, and Reynold came out to give us an estimate, which was highly competitive with the other estimates we had gotten for this large job. We selected Gold Coast to remove the trees and on the day of the removal, they sent out a large crew of about 6 men to do the job and were finished relatively quickly. 
As I was going through everything and turning the soil, I discovered a lot of smaller roots that had not been removed. I called Gold Coast back and sure enough, Reynold himself came back to do the job. He did a very thorough job of grinding the roots using this machine that looked like a snowblower. It took some scheduling, but they stood by their word and came back until I was satisfied with the job. This is the kind of excellent customer service that unfortunately, you don't see too much of these days!
I would definitely hire Gold Coast again to remove any trees and I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of any tree removal.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I intitially hired Gold Coast Tree Service to remove and grind down the stumps of two trees in my front yard. Wow, what a huge mistake it was to hire these guy! As required, I marked the water lines and lights, but their worker's carelessly ran the equipment over the lines and ripped-up and destoyed the water pipes and landscape lights. In addition, during the middle of the job their equipment broke down. So,they had to go back to the shop fix it and then return to the job site. Afterwards, the worker's promised to return and repair the damage they had clearly casued. However, they never returned or took the time to even return my phone calls. I called Gold Coast Tree Service countless times to dicuss this matter, but the owner refused to speak with me or make any attempt to repair/fix the damage they caused. Gold Coast Tree Service lacks integrity and professionalism and could careless about supporting their work. At the end of the day, I hired another company to repair the damage, which cost more than the initial job was even worth! AVOID THIS COMPANY.

This is the third time I have used Gold Coast in about a range of 15 years. Every time I call, they return my call promptly, show up on time for an estimate and arrive to do the job on time. They workers are always polite, friendly and extreemly neat. After they leave there is no sign of any litter. We are ALWAYS so pleased with this company!

The representative, David, was prompt with appointment to give estimate, followed thru with any questions I had regarding insurance, bond, etc. with documentation. Lee, the office manager was not only thorough but very personable, she even gave me a $100.00 cupon credit from a local clipper magazine I had gotten in the mail the day before the crew was to start the job. The crew the company uses are very efficient, fast, and polite. I was amazed how fast they took down the 6 huge trees, sawed them up and chipped them. After the trees were removed they racked any loose debris off my hillside, racked the yard, and removed the debris from my property. I really didn't think they would cut the trees so close to the ground, but they did, Yeh! Thanks, Gold Coast, keep up the good work.  I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They didn't hit any other neighbor's yard or anything. It was spectacular. Gold Coast is very good. What they had to do was extremely unique because I have a pool in the backyard and behind the pool and right below that are our neighbors. We had trees up high and about 4 feet to work inside and going down about 35 to 40 feet where the pool is and along the side of it. They had to keep the trees out of the pool and out of the neighbor's yard when they cut them. They were very professional, did a great job, cleaned it up and brought it out in the front. They kept the chips that were coming out of this thing from going into the neighbor's yard below it by putting up some 4 x 8 pieces of wood. They're very knowledgeable. They understood what they were looking at. They spent about 5 to 10 minutes looking at it just to be sure they knew what they would do. The way they used their stuff was really great. Our neighbors used them, too. I can't think of anything they did that was a problem. The price was very good compared to what we expected.

Gold Coast Tree service was very professional and prompt.  Scheduling was easy and they arrived when they said they were going to.  They did a great job trimming the trees.  I would definitely use them again.

The service was fantastic.  They were right on time, and completed the work very quickly.  The crew was efficient and left the yard clean and perfect.   The quote was very reasonable for the work, and I would absolutely have them come out again if I need tree work done.

Thrilled with the job!!  I first spoke to a very pleasant lady on the phone when I called to get an estimate. She was able to set up an appointment for me right away. The day of the estimate the gentleman (I think his name was David) was running a little bit late, but was nice enough to call me and tell me he was running behind and would be there soon. The estimate was not only reasonable but a lot less then we expected.   The day of job a crew of four showed up right on time. It took less then one hour from start to finish to cut, remove, mulch the tree and clean up the grounds. The crew was quick and very efficient.

I hired gold coast and they did an excellent job. The guys were very nice and qualified in removal of all my trees.

All aspects of this project went like clockwork.  The office was professional, courteous, and able to quickly schedule an estimate.  The estimator arrived on time, took the needed time to understand my needs, and then provided a detailed quote for the work.  I had 3 olive and 3 willow trees pruned WAY back, and one hibiscus shrub/tree removed entirely.  On the day of the work, I couldn't be at home.  I left a check for the crew, and when I came home that evening all the work had been done exactly as quoted, every bit of debris was removed...other than my trees being pruned, you couldn't tell anyone had been on site.  I would certainly recommend Gold Coast Tree Service, and will definitely use them again!

We had obtained other estimates to remove two very large trees which were ruining our driveway.  We were very concerned about potential damage since the trees were so close to our neighbor's house.  Gold Coast was the only company that proposed using a crane for the job.  Also they had the lowest estimate, so we went ahead and scheduled the work.  The crew arrived promptly and performed the work quickly and efficiently.  We were very impressed with the procedure of removing the tree piece by piece with the crane.
We subsequently had Gold Coast remove several other trees on our property which were diseased and threatening our home.  The price seemed high, although we did not compare with other companies since we were so impressed with the first job that Gold Coast did. Our only other complaint with this company is the damage that was caused to our driveway and sprinkler pipes.  While we understand that sometimes damage is unavoidable, we tried to point out where the pipes were.  We were planning to replace our driveway anyway. However, Gold Coast did not offer to repair any damage.

I was very satisfied and have scheduled them for some more work in Dec 2012.  Both experiences so far have been very positive.

David, the estimate guy, told me there is a minimum of $300 which at first I didn't like because I just wanted my queen palm done.  But they did excellent work on all trees, just hope they can come back when I just need palm.  They were supposed to come in the afternoon and showed up at 8:00am!  I didn't really care for that!

The crew of five showed up on time at 9:00 A.M. without any functional chain saws. Job was to trim 30 palm trees, and remove three palm trees. How could they do anything without chain saws? Job also included the removal of the tree stumps that were all located in a block planter. They brought a huge stump grinder, obviously the communication between the estimator and the crew did not occur. We had other bids and am very sorry that we did not go with them as their bid included stump removal by hand. Now I need to hire another service to remove the stumps.

The last time we used Gold Coast Tree Service was around March. I would grade them an A for everything, they are outstanding.

The job was okay, but they need a little supervision because even after they said the job was done, I had to tell them things that were not done and they did it. The one problem may have been the person I spoke to when we first asked them to come and give a quote, was not there when they actually did the job, so maybe they misunderstood what was needed. Their pricing was reasonable based on the couple of people that I had talked to overall, they were the best. I am happy with the price. They were supposed to come in the morning but they did call and let us know that they will be coming late. Overall, they did a good job and very fast as well.

Gold Coast Tree Service's six member crew did an excellent job.  Work was completed in one day when scheduled and within the cost estimated. They were an excellent value in performing quality, hard work at a resonable cost.  The trees were trimmed in a way that improved the look of the property.  Over the years we have used other tree trimming services and Gold Coast is by far the best. This is a professional, licensed company with the necessary insurance.
