It was a wonderful experience. I was in a rush to hire someone to help me with some basic cleaning. I sent them an e-mail late at night and they responded first thing in the morning to get things set up. They came the next day and showed up on time and with great attitudes. They did the basic cleaning as asked and finished in two hours. The prices were reasonable and it was a POSITIVE experience. My house sparkled. Thanks so much!

I have been using the company for a little over a year. The cleaners do a nice job and are very punctual most of the time. They do exactly what I ask and it takes about 3 hours for them to complete the service. They bring their own supplies and scheduling is very easy.

  1. The house needed cleaning services for a move out.. Dana came to my home and provided me with a free estimate. I called Susan and scheduled the date and time to have the services performed.. Two ladies arrived on that day on time with all supplies in hand. I must say their services were great! The ladies started to work immediately, were professional and friendly at the same time. I have used cleaning services before and never experienced this quality of work. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again. It's good to know people still take pride in their work.

I used the service for years. The costs escalated to $165 for a half day. The provider changed regularly, and quality varied significantly. I finally let them go when I spilled something on my bathroom floor right after they left and hair and filth came up, clearly the tile had not been cleaned well in a very long time. They did the obvious cleaning, dusting, kitchen counters, toilets, but anything that didn't show was glossed over.

"Every time the girls cleaned your home for the last 3 months, I came by to check it out and my girls did a beautiful job. I think the problem here is the cost only and being in California, you know that taxes has gone up and this is the first price increase I had in 7 years. I know your home was protected. I like Susan's. I've been using them regularly for about 4 months. I pay $82.50 for a 3-hour period. I have tried a number of services and they were very responsive in terms of following up and following through. I was a little shocked because I haven't paid for housecleaning in a long time but I guess it's a reasonable price. I think people should make a fair wage and theirs certainly is. They will solicit my information sometimes even when I don't want it but they're very nice and chatty.

My house is cleaned well. They are always prompt and they call me ahead of time. If something is not right, they take care of it right away. I would definitely recommend them and have.

My last service with them cost $100 for 4 hours. They are reliable. The employees are good. They will not rob my blind or come to work drunk like some other services I have used. One girl from another provider come here drunk and fell asleep on my couch. I would use them again in the future.

A girl named Ty who works for Susan's has been coming to clean our house almost since we started using Susan's. She is an EXCELLENT worker who goes beyond what is expected of her. A few others have come and they were, to put it politely, crappers workers. Have used Susan's for a few years with very little to complain about until: Well last week we had a call from Susan that indicated that Ty had quit and she then started to talk negatively about her--Right away that set off alarms: Well I think there was more to it than just quitting -- Now I only have my intuition to go on, but I trust it, and it tells me that Susan was NOT the best employer, i.e., does not treat her staff up to the STANDARDS that I would. 1. Never talk down to them 2. Treat them with respect 3. Pay them better Of course I have no evidence of this, but I WILL NOT BE USING SUSAN'S AGAIN. For the reason above, plus I do not want to 'train' another person in how I want my house cleaned. Next time I hire a cleaning service, I will ask the owner about the pay and respect they give their employees.

Overall no problems, especially with Ty. Only one time was there a problem when the two week schedule got screwed up and I was not contacted that Ty was NOT coming. But I called Susan and told her my displeasure about this and all is well. Highly recommended!

She and here so called help are a JOKE would not do windows or carpets Took 4 hours to clean and the house was still dirty, floors, cobwebs, dirty vent filters, cabnets sticky on the inside and out. she never called back to see how the help did she left after an hour and we will never will call her to clean our rental property

"We are shock that you were under happy as you walk thought your home you said it was beautiful I understand it theirs a problem we would of fix it right away we do not clean the windows because we have to sub this out due to worker comp as for the blinds they were only had dust on them that is why we did not clean then which we also sub this out like I explain to Jan I think that this complaint was due to the cost we gave her 4 hours for free as a owner I feel sorry for Clients who claim to know how to clean and they don't my ladies are the best and the over the years I have been very proud of them We our a great company who will go the extra mile for all the clients that we have As for Jan I wish her the best all she need was to call if there was a problem and we would of came back out to correct it that is my policy Susan Asher"

Overall, the experience went okay. The agreement was that she would finish the job in two days for $500. They completed three rooms within 4 hours. The next day they called me and told me that they'd need a few more days to finish the job, and it would be a couple hundred dollars more. I let them know I hadn't expected that and I wanted to stick with the original estimate of $200, so they ended up not fully completed the job. Before the job, I asked her to provide me a written quote, but she wasn't able to for some reason. The cleaning lady arrived on time and was very nice and professional. The quality of the work was good as well.

"This home we would of finish it but it was making my ladies sick from all the urine this home she use rescuer cats to take care of them until she could find homes for them very nice lady but I ruin a vacuum cleaner from the cat urine smell we would of finish the job but the home had not been clean in years after we started I could tell that it was going to take a lot long then I estimate I sent to her daughter what in detail it was going to take and her daughter said for me not to finish the job I had two ladies in this home 4 hours each and they could only clean to 3 rooms at that time that is 8 hours total the member was a great person and I wish her the best and she has wonderful daughter that wanted to help her thank you"

Susan 'wowed' me with the prospect of having a completely deep down clean home. She expressed that her business was top notch and indicated that she required her staff to do a professional job. Susan thoroughly inspected my home and gave me the impression that she would make my home look "as new as possible.” I was told the first cleaning would take about 6hrs for about $150; it could be more if the cleaning took longer. Always the cautious person, I read the reviews on Angies List and eventually decided to schedule my "Ceiling to Floor" house cleaning. Since I had to work, my husband agreed to be home for the cleaning. All day I was soooo excited about going home to a sparkling clean home - light fixtures cleaned, cobwebs removed from the vaulted ceiling, window sills clean, sparkling bathroom, the refrigerator moved for cleaning underneath, even the lotion and other bathroom products neatly arranged. When I arrived home...I was immediately disappointed. Right away, I saw dust on the bookcase, dirty light fixtures, untouched windowsills, and a home that didn't look "as new as possible.” My husband said the two ladies left after 4 hours. Disappointed, I called the Susan's company and was told that the ladies were new and must not have known that they could have stayed longer. A couple weeks later, I received a call from Susan admitting that the job was not completed as should be. She offered a 50% discount for an additional cleaning. Unfortunately, the bridge has been burned - do the job right the first time, or do not charge to do it again.

Overall I was disapointed.The kitchen cabnites had food still on them ( my wife wiped up with a damp towel)bathroom floor had been moped but you could run a fingernail down the floor and come up with dark stuff. The stuff that got cleaned was clean but a lots did not get cleaned but just wiped a best. I,m not sure if they just ran out of time or just under estimated .Just disapointing.

She has done exceptionally well. She charges by the hour. The work is outstanding, my house is clean! They even clean areas that most cleaning services have completely missed. The house just sparkles. Their rates are very comparative to the area.
