+ -1 moreBill was just invaluable in keeping my project on track and keeping me sane during the extensive renovation of an almost 60-year old home. He gave me a good solid idea of how far my money would go, what to prioritize to get the biggest value, what kinds of things to consider as far as how to deal old plumbing and electrical systems. When I thought about cutting corners to stretch my dollars, he was there to tell me what impact that would have - not only on my satisfaction with the project, but also on the resale value of the home. I don't really know how I would have maintained my sanity through the whole thing without him.
Description of Work: Bill consulted on an extensive home remodel and acted as the project manager; answered all of my questions; confirmed the reasonableness of contractor estimates; provided advice re scope of work; worked with my contractor to solve issues as they arose; advised me on everything from the best way to time the project to how to mix my own paint colors to what little details would give me the best bang from my buck. The project consisted of a new roof, new HVAC, fireplace insert, complete remodels of two bathrooms and kitchen, including knocking out walls and restoring hardwood floors.
