What I liked best was that it was free. I didn’t pay for anything, I didn’t follow up on anything that they suggested. They were nice. I don’t know if I can basically recommend them. What they did was fines, but it was basically free. I don’t have any services that they provided for me that I paid for, that I could recommend. They did a great job, I guess. We set a date, they showed up and they were on time. They were polite, courteous and professional. I was walking in the store, they made an offer. I was looking for filters and they offered this. I wouldn’t necessarily go to Home Depot seeking out someone to look at my air conditioner.

They're very detail so as long as your very open with them they do what they can do and they tell you what they cannot do.

They were very responsive. The service was excellent and the staff was pleasant to work with.

They weren't as good as we expected. Firstly, they didn't physically come on time and secondly, their quality of work wasn't as good. We had to point out various things and they finally fixed it. There was damage in the kitchen and we had to have it redone but the way they worked wasn't great. It came out okay in the end but it took some pushing us to get it done correctly. I would possibly let them come in and price out a job in the future, but I am not sure if I would use them again.

They are very accommodating. Everyone there is really nice and timely. The flooring came out the way we wanted. It was perfect. They were very hard workers. The sales people at this Home Depot are very nice and professional. They try really hard to find what you are looking for and they do not try to push a product. These guys went above and beyond. Max and Ruben are the ones that did the installation. They work for US Installation Group.

The Home Depot were good. They did a great job, were on time, and did a follow-up. I would highly recommend them. They used good quality products. I will use them again.

Every organization has its share of good employees and bad ones. Fortunately, the managers at the West Hills Home Depot are really good employees. After explaining my situation to one manager in particular, I got the impression he actually wanted to help. He didn't know if he could do anything, but at least he promised to look into it. Over the next few weeks, an entire team invested considerable effort in trying to make a customer happy. The managers at that location care about good service. Now this happy new daddy has one less thing to worry about!

As far as the quality of the finished product, I would say it was good. There were some issues along the way, they kept making mistakes such as the wrong size of windows, but they would always fix the problems. They never tried to blame me, they admitted it was their mistake. But it took longer than it should've. One thing I really didn't like is that they told me I had to take down my plantation shutters for the installer, but when he came out he said that we didn't need to, and it was just a pain to do that. I still haven't put them back up because it is so difficult, and I may have damaged them when taking them down. Part of the reason we went with them is because when they do make mistakes they always take care of the problem, and also because everything is on a lifetime guarantee.

I bought an LG front loading washing machine from Home Depot. There was a $55 dollar charge for delivery and installation as well as a $55 dollar rebate for this service. The washer is absolutely fine. Upon delivery, I asked the installer to check the balance and leveling since I heard that this was a key set-up for these kinds of high speed washers. They said it was level and left. I read the installation instructions and found that they 1) did not level the washer 2) did not adjust the feet to take into account any dips in the floor and 3) did not tighten any of the lock washers. Beware; they dump the appliances off and leave you to figure out why your washer makes noise. I am going to go through Angie's list and find someone to balance it correctly!

I purchased the carpet through Home Depot. The representative came to my house to take measurements and provided a detailed diagram of how the carpet would be installed. The installers performed the work in about one half day. The carpet looks good in general. Seams are visible in a few places if you know where to look.

Even when phoning this large store, I was always able to talk to someone and get my questions answered. Sales staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I was given very accurate information about ordering and installation times. Installation crew was very efficient and did a good job.

IT WAS VERY FRUSTRATING. DEALING WITH THE SALESPEOPLE IN THE STORE, IT WAS DIFFICULT TO GET TO TALK TO THE SAME PERSON TWICE. THEY DID NOT SEEM TO HAVE A GOOD IDEA OF WHERE THE ORDER WAS AT OR HOW TO EXPEDITE THINGS. THEY DID NOT FOLLOW THE WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS THAT WERE ON THE WORK ORDER. THEY CHIPPED A TOILET SEAT COVER. IT WAS JUST NOT IDEAL.

I WOULD NEVER GO BACK. THE ACTUAL QUALITY OF THE MATERIALS IS EXCELLENT BUT THE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. IT TOOK THEM OVER TWELVE MONTHS TO GET THE WORK DONE. THEY FAILED TO RETURN CALLS. WE COMPLAINED TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND THEY FINALLY GOT IT DONE AFTER SIXTEEN MONTHS. MY HUSBAND ACTUALLY FINISHED OFF PART OF IT AND I HAD A TIRADE AND THEY CAME OUT TO COMPLETE IT. THEY ALSO REQUIRED PAYMENT PRIOR TO COMPLETION.

THEY WERE NOT ON TIME, BUT I FELT THEY WERE REASONABLY PRICED. THEY BROUGHT OUT THE WRONG TOILETS THE FIRST TIME. SO, THEY HAD TO MAKE AN EXTRA TRIP.

I PURCHASED A PRODUCT; RATHER THEN PURCHASING A SERVICE. THE FIRST EMPLOYEE I FOUND DIRECTED ME TO THE AREA WHERE THE PRODUCT WAS LOCATED AND A SECOND EMPLOYEE DIRECTED ME RIGHT TO THE PRODUCT. THE STORE HAD IN STOCK DIFFERENT SIZES FOR THE SAME PRODUCT. THE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT WAS CHEAPER THAN A COMPETITOR'S PRICE.
