GARDENS WEST LANDSCAPE

The initial install went well. I had no complaints. My concern is that it's been very difficult to get Ben to respond to follow up on issues occurring subsequent. We lost a lot of plants in the first 6 months afterward,  and it took a number of calls to get a response. Once we did Ben was kind enough to replace the plants. He indicated that he would be available to follow up, but since then, I can't get him to respond to my calls or emails. My last message was that one of the trees that was planted was falling over, most likely because the roots weren't planted deep enough. My gardener had to wire at least two of the ficus trees planted. I would have considered hiring Ben to complete the installation in my backyard, and at a cost of about $10,000, one would think that would be enough incentive to for the company to stay in touch.
Again, i think that the company did a good initial job, but I would have been happier if the company was better at following up on their work.

Ben responded to our needs quickly, but with care and thoughtfulness. He assessed our needs and wants and incorporated the overall look of our home into his ultimate design suggestions. He was on-site during all phases of the project, and his crew was courteous and clean.
We will happily recommend Gardens West, and we look forward to using him again.

didn't start too well - they are hold to get ahold of at the beginning and at the end they lag on asking for final payment? go figure
but once they commit to the job they are great - answered all my questions - made suggestions - allowed me to learn what they were doing

For the first time in the nearly 14 years of living in my house, I LOVE my backyard. I have been back there more in the past week than I had the previous 6 months prior.
I was very hesitant at first, but they came highly recommended from a friend of mine who had both hardscaping and landscaping done.
The hard part of the process was letting go of my existing gardner as he has been working with me for 10 years. The decision to make the change though was an easy one as I know that he takes pride in what he does.
Don't make the same mistake as I did for the past 10 years. Go with someone professional. Go with Gardens West.
