Came ahead of schedule and actually called to pre coordinate their early arrival!  Done quickly and professionally.  No hidden add ons.  And called back to make sure everything is working.  Could have sold me on installing new springs, but recommended adding tension to current springs for the time being and saving money until the springs really need replacement.

Everything went well.

The work was done promptly. He repaired the motor after normal working hours and was very courteous. Even though he came in the evening to make the repairs, his price seemed reasonable. I highly recommend Garage Door Doctor.

I first hired the Garage Door Dr. 3 years ago to do a much needed, major adjustment to my garage door which was sagging and hitting the roof rack of my SUV. He showed up when he said he would and did an amazing job of fixing and adjusting a not so great 2-car garage door. I just hired him again to replace the hinges and springs and an overall adjustment and balancing to the same 'not so great' garage door and once again he showed up right when he said he would, which was early on a Monday morning and did an incredible job, once again. Prior to this I had to get out of my SUV every time I needed to open my 'automatic' garage door opener for the last month or so. Jim is a rare breed in that he actually cares about the quality of the work he does and is NOT all about just getting the job done so that he can move on to the next job, not to mention he's very professional and pleasant to be around.Thank you, again, Jim!

Service was great. I called Alex and he was in the area on another job. I told him I was concerned about paying a service call fee if he couldn't actually fix my problem. He agreed and came out. Once out he explained the situation in terms I understood and started working with his son to figure out a way to break into the garage. Alex didn't think they would be able to help but his son asked me a few more questions and suddenly had an idea. He was able to squeeze a wire through a gap in the door to reach the manual switch and presto...the door was open. Alex then installed an emergancy release switch. He didn't try and sell me stuff I didn't need and wasn't overpriced. He helped me reset the wireless key pad and then had me walk through it myself so I knew what to do...excellent for someone who is tactile learner!

So that was it. He was great! And when the stupid pad went out two weeks later I knew how to get in, how to reset it and how to put the door back on the auto track. Amazing!!

He quickly responded to the cal and came within a very reasonable period. Quickly and reliable. We are considering purchasing a new garage door through him.

He was very good and professional. They were on time. The original quote he gave me was correct. He did everything that he needed too. He did a great job and I was very happy.

Great! He arrived on time, did a thorough job and was done in 3-4 hours (as he quoted). I had wanted the 1/HP model, but he didn't have it on hand. So, I got the 1/HP model for $20 extra. He would have gotten the other motor, but we would have had to reschedule the installation. He threw in the fancier model remote for no extra charge, because he didn't have two of the regular on hand. He answered all questions thoroughly. It was a pleasant experience.

Jim was very prompt. I called several companies and he was the only one willing to come out the same day that I called (Saturday). He was quick and professional. I asked him about replacing my opener. He was nice enough to explain the different types of motors and left me a couple of brochures. He gave me absolutely no pressure. I will definitely call him when I'm ready to put in the new opener (and submit another report). I highly recommend him.

Mr. Bishop was prompt, informative, professional, efficient and neat. My garage door now operates safely and quietly!
