The service provider came specifically to collect his $60 service fee; he never even intended to investigate the AC problem.

Technician showed up on time.  He spent all of 5 minutes in the attic saying it needed major service and he would call back. He spent several minutes then yelling at someone on the phone in foreign language in front of me. He also said the attic would need platforms installed before they would go back in. He wanted his $60 deductible on the spot and left.

They notified the home warranty company the repair estimate of $325, plus we would need to install the platform.  HW company stated this was not covered.

I then hired another highly rated HVAC contractor to come out.  He inspect the unit and everything check out normal.  He had no issue of needing the platform installed.  Total repairs bill $125.

Would not hire Comfort Services.  Complaint sent to HW company.

I would never recommend Comfort Services to anyone. When they called the schedule service, they called at 9PM on a Sunday evening. When I requested that they come Thursday (any time), because I couldn't do Monday I was informed that they would most likely come between 12-3, but that they might have to re-schedule. I work far from home and that was the only day I was available. Since I gave them 4 days notice, why would they have to re-schedule and how would they know this Sunday night?
The technician ended up calling me at 11AM to see if he could come early, I said sure, but I needed 20 minutes.
He showed up and my first concern was when he didn't know how to use a simple thermostat. Then he proceeded to only visually check the air conditioning unit outside and the inside HVAC unit, then only tested the output temperature of one vent, closest to the unit and told me that everything was working perfectly.
He didn't clean the unit outside, which was full of derbies or service any of the units while he was there. He told me he replaced the filter, but when I asked for my old one back, that's when I discovered he didn't actually change the filter.
Not only was no work performed except a visual inspection, he also insulted me and was flat out rude.
I would never recommend them to anyone.

We have been using them for many years. Their price was really low. We have an older unit which other service providers could not fix. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. They tried to get to us as soon as they could. We have trusted them to come and work on our heater and they have always done a good job.

I thought they did a pretty good job. It was within the warranty period, so I spent $60 for the deductible. I thought that they very professional, called me and scheduled a time and showed up at that time. He fixed the air-conditioning pretty quickly and seemed to be knowledgeable.

Stepan (sp?) was punctual and pleasant. He looked at everything and let us know that the electric was running to one line for both the furnace and the air conditioner and that he had to call in an electrician to split the lines. The electrician was scheduled by our home warranty insurance and after the electrician was finished Comfort Services came out again and had everything fixed quickly and under our home warranty policy.

Comfort Services was sent to me by our home warranty company for a "second opinion" after the first company said poor maintenance caused the failure of my blower motor, and refused to accept my proof of regular service. Comfort Services contacted me promptly and I did not have to wait long for an appointment. Stefan arrived on time, and was very thorough. He not only confirmed the failed motor, but also identified a problem with the condenser and a code violation in the location of the disconnect switch. Most importantly, he indicated that a nearly 30-year-old rooftop unit cannot be kept clean and disagreed that a failure to maintain created the need to replace the motor. This was very unusual for a "second opinion" from our home warranty company. As a result of Stefan's honesty, our home warranty company agreed to pay for replacement of the motor and condenser, which would otherwise have cost me at least $500. Replacement of the disconnect was not a covered item, because it was installed incorrectly, so Comfort Services gave me an estimate of $220 for installation of a new, code-compliant disconnect. Stefan returned to do the work and spent more than an hour, not only replacing the defective parts, but cleaning the unit as best he could. He was on time on both occasions, very polite and informative, and cleaned up after his work. I paid the amount I had been quoted. I would not hesitate to use Comfort Services again.

I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY CAME OUT ONCE, WORKED QUICKLY WITH NO FUSS, AND THE PROBLEM APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN SOLVED. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN IF I NEEDED TO.
