I've done my fair share of remodels and renovations and have worked with a variety of contractors and sub contractors. Cavalier was by far the best I have worked with thus far. They were on time, under budget and provided impeccable service. They showed up every day, full crew and were responsive to every communication I sent. Now when have you ever experienced that?!?!? HIGHLY recommend.

recently had Sharon with Cavalier Builder complete my earthquake retrofit, electrical panel upgrade and laundry room. This is my third time working with him and I had another great experience. I’m the kind of person who likes concise and informative reviews so I would recommend Cavalier builders to anyone for three main reasons: Communication, Expertise and Flexibility. Firstly, if you have ever had any work done you know how important quick communication is. I’m a mom of a toddler and I don’t have a lot of free time. Sharon is always so quick to respond and communicates through text, which is perfect for me. Sends quick updates, videos, and in person he is very helpful. I had him come quote me and he gave his opinion on what he thought needed to be done to get my house ready to sell. Sharon even told me what he thought I didn’t need to do, not many contractors would do that. He talks you through every step and his contracts are very detailed so you know exactly what to expect. Sharon and his team have a lot of expertise and are all very professional, this is the third time working with him and everyone has always come exactly on time, been super courteous, finished the project on time and left my house as clean as it was before. Finally, one of my main reasons I continue to work with Cavalier builders is their flexibility. It is a large business but everyone acts like a family. The benefit is that you can get a job done quickly and on time but they will also take on little jobs that are hard to get other big companies to do. I had a roof leak once and contacted a large roofing company, they said they were booked four weeks out, I contacted Sharon and I had it done one week later. I had an old wall heater that was broken and I wanted to remove it. I contacted a large heating and cooling company and they said they wouldnt do it. After three jobs I even recognize faces behind masks and worked with Eddie, Felix, and Sammi a few times. This is so important to know because if you work with someone who has long term employees it says that the work is good and the results are consistent and that the contractor is someone you want to work with.

Wow, where do I even begin. David and his crew are amazing, he went above and beyond our expectations and we can't thank him enough. We needed to quickly convert our garage with attached bonus room to a 2 bedroom ADU for a friend in need during the pandemic and David made sure to do everything in his power to get her and her son moved in quickly under very difficult circumstances with the city being shut down. We can't believe it's the same area, and quite honestly, it's nicer than our house! During the process, David truly became like family to us and we are so grateful for everything he did. I had an excellent experience with David and his team. I have worked with many contractors in my life, from building large homes to small remodels and I can confidently recommend them as a top-notch company. They are skilled, honest and a pleasure to deal with. Integrity and reliability are what you will experience. They are dependable and stand by their work, any problems will be remedied promptly. They are fairly priced and always stand by their estimates. I look forward to using them again and consider them my "go-to" company for everything.

The craftsmanship of Cavalier/ David Moshe’s team was very impressive. All of the flooring in my two-story condominium was replaced with hardwood laminate. The work on all of the stairs, risers and landing showed great attention to detail. The old baseboard was removed throughout, and replaced with tall detailed baseboards, creating a custom finished look. Equal attention was paid to refinishing all of the ceilings, re-grouting and caulking all of the baths and kitchen tile, and to painting the old stained kitchen cabinets a fresh white. All of the crew were provided with “covid-19 masks”; the job was finished in the time frame given with no cost overruns. And, most remarkable of all, emails and texts to David during the job were returned within one hour!

We just completed a remodel of three bathrooms and a kitchen with Cavalier Builders. This work took about 2.5 months. The timeline and the cost were right in line with the estimate Sharon gave us at the beginning of the process. We highly recommend them. First, they are very professional, coming on time, coming every day, consistently respectful of our needs, as we lived in our home during this process. We saw the same guys every day and we felt very comfortable working with them. They are friendly, helpful, and they went above and beyond for us. Second, Sharon is amazingly responsive and willing to answer all our questions and concerns promptly and and thoroughly. A process like this is bound to create questions and concerns. Sharon was always available and consistently provided helpful guidance and explanations. Also, he provided some guidance on a few of our aesthetic choices that were better than our choices and made the rooms more like what we were looking for than the would have if we were left on our own. Third, Cavalier's workmanship is top notch. Everything was done how it should be and done in ways that will last. Finally, in a big job like this there are bound to be some hiccups. Sharon was always willing to address them and fix them promptly. We knew that, in the end, the job would be done right. And, it was.

They did a beautiful work, no complaints, the company worked with you, they listen to your concern and very accessible.

I highly recommend Cavalier Builders, Inc. They just remodeled our kitchen while we remained living in our house. Cavalier’s crew removed the wall between the dining room and kitchen, took the floor down to the floor boards, re-arranged all the utilities/appliances, replaced/resized the window, installed a tankless water heater, installed new lighting, brought everything up to code, pulled all the permits and so much more. We now have a brand-new kitchen, pantry and dining room. David’s crew always showed up on time, were professional, and always left our home neat and livable. He always returned my messages quickly and always answered any questions we had during the construction process. Cavalier Builders finished the entire job on schedule without any problems or concerns. The best part was how nice David was along with his entire crew. I will definitely use them the next time we need this kind of work done.

Wow! I am so impressed with Cavalier Builders and Sharon Moshe! From the minute he came to scope out my potential bathroom remodel, I was impressed with Sharon’s knowledge and professionalism! He answered all my questions thoroughly and clearly. When it came time to start the job, Sharon and his team were on time and ready to work. If I had a question, I would usually send a text and receive an answer within ten minutes(usually sooner). Eddie, Felix and Marcello continued to work their magic working quickly and efficiently. They covered my floors to keep the dust to a minimum and cleaned up after themselves each day. There was never a mess to stumble over. Sharon kept an eye on the progress and brought the project in sooner than I expected and on budget. There were no added expenses or surprises. Cavalier builders did a great job! We had a remodel of a garage that we converted into an accessory dwelling unit. We had an archItect handle the plans and we had interviewed several builders to do the construction. I came across Cavalier builders via Yelp and a few other review sites and couldn't believe the number of positive reviews they had. Over 50 +recommendations, all with 5 star ratings and very detailed explanations as to why they were so good. So we called them and met with David Moshe, the owner of Cavalier Builders. Out of all of the builders we spoke with, David listened to what we wanted and gave us concrete steps on how he would accomplish our project. He also gave us the areas of potential obstacles (our property straddles Los Angeles and Culver City). He also provided the most detailed Statement of Work with straight forward costing. Our decision to go with Cavalier was the right one! We ran into a few obstacles with the plans that our architect had made, but David and his team took care of making what was on paper a reality and it turned out awesome... and on budget. A a couple more things about Cavalier. They are a family business. Everyone that works there is either a family member or a long time friend. The supervisor on our project has worked with David for 30 years. It really makes a difference. And to top it off, when our building inspector was doing the final inspection (by the way, we passed all inspections the first time) he told me "these guys really do great work." Coming from someone who has to deal with all sorts of builders day in and day out, that was the best compliment of all. So now I have become another one of those reviews for Cavalier that is giving them 5 stars. Thank you David and all of Cavalier Builders!

We are extremely satisfied.

We remodeled our bathroom with Cavalier construction after taking bids from six contractors that had high rankings from Yelp and Angie’s List. Cavalier was second lowest, but I was impressed by co-owner Sharon Moshe and his many reviews were positive and credible. Sharon estimated three weeks and that’s what it took. The demo took two days and they did a good job setting down paper and sheeting to protect the rest of the house. The electrical and plumbing subs were all competent and arrived on time. Felix with his brother, Marcelo, assisting did the tile work (a lot of difficult mosaic) as well as the carpentry. Felix is a real craftsman with a terrific work ethic- really a special guy. All the workmen seemed to respect Sharon and that made for a good work environment. Much better and probably cheaper than me trying to contract it myself. Totally satisfied and would use them again.

Not only do they do excellent work, but when ever I have had anything need a quick fix, they are always there to come take care of it. Since this was the first big rain after having the new roof put on, they came before the storm to make sure all seals were good, and even after the rain to inspect that all was well. Cavalier builders does not just treat us like a client, they treat us like family.

Efficient and clear. Work performed in a punctual and timely fashion. All my questions were answered, all my requests incorporated. David was responsive to my questions and concerns throughout and really worked with us both when we knew what we wanted and when we weren't sure and open to ideas. Our bathroom is beautiful.

I cannot speak highly enough of the fairness, quality and can-do attitude of David Moshe and his team. He respected my budget, opinions and desires and worked tirelessly to make my dream of my new home a reality in the minimum possible time frame. David is an expert at staying one step ahead of the process so that things run smoothly and is especially good at explaining the ins and outs of the construction process so that we could make mutually beneficial decisions together. Cavalier builders quoted fair prices, not rock bottom prices that would have required substandard building materials. In the event that something was not to my liking, David always responded immediately and worked to make it right. The final outcome of my completely remodeled home is stunning. If you are thinking about remodeling, I would highly recommend Cavalier Builders if you can get them! A company like this will always be in demand.

After purchasing our home in April 2014, we hired the Cavalier team to remodel our kitchen and two bathrooms. Although it was a large project, David, Sharon, and their team stayed on schedule, were conscientious of our wishes and concerns, and did a wonderful job. Since we were living in the house while the work was being done, we also appreciated how much effort they put into trying to minimize the amount of dust and debris allowed to float through the rest of the house. The Cavalier team did such good work, in fact, that we hired them again this past June 2016 to install new patio doors in our dining room. And, again, David and his team stayed on schedule and were conscientious of our wishes. Several of the workers were the same gentlemen that worked on our home in 2014, which I think speaks well for the company.

My wife and I decided to finally update our second bathroom and started the task of interviewing contractors. I tried using the BuildZoom.com website to see what they could do and we contacted 4 of the 5 contractors suggested by them based on the number of and level of their ratings reviews. One was too busy to accommodate our timeline, one seemed uninterested, a third contractor arrived late for our meeting without a call and was rejected as not acceptable, after that, the fourth contractor seemed almost too perfect (Cavalier Builders).

 Sharon Moshe from Cavalier Builders arrived on time, was gracious and engaging, and appeared genuinely interested in the project. He showed us photos of recent bathroom remodels to give us ideas of what they could do and offered references to verify their work.  We decided to go with Cavalier and never regretted our decision at all.

Sharon’s crew showed up on time everyday, kept the work area clean, and sealed off the work area to prevent dust and debris from getting into the rest of our living spaces. Sharon met us at a well-stocked tile and stone store he uses to help pick out materials for the project and gave us great feedback on what would and would not work well for our project. Sharon was always available by telephone or text, even when he was out of town over the weekend.

 All work and costs were spelled out in our contract and a payment schedule was set up as each milestone was reached. Sharon had us pay for the materials directly so the purchases were completely transparent and the materials belonged to us, which avoids conflicts down the road.

 The work was first class and the results are spectacular. Our challenging tiny bathroom was completed in less than two weeks from demolition to completion and required no callbacks. We have no complaints and are already planning to utilize Cavalier to remodel our main bathroom as soon as possible.

 We highly recommend Cavalier Builders for their professionalism, work ethic and attention to detail.

I hired David and crew not only because he gave me a good price but also because I felt he really would take my vision, with my tight budget, and make it look amazing. I'm so happy with what he and his team have done. I'm a single mom and had no help. He drove with me to stores to purchase the right appliances and the right fixtures, lugged heavy purchases onto his truck and spent hours with me making decisions that really were not his responsibility. The job went very smoothly. The workers kept as much dust out of the rest of the house as possible. The pricing was fair and there were no shocking surprises. It turned out beautiful and really fits our needs.

I highly recommend Cavalier Builders.  Sharon was always available for any question or concerns and his team did fantastic work on a bathroom gut job.  The team of guys he brought in were very polite and make sure everything was done how i wanted.  They showed up on time, did great work, and stayed on budget,  What more could you ask for?!?!?!?!  I can not wait to get more projects going with Cavalier Builders as they have earned my trust and my continued business.

We had Cavalier Builders replace the roof on my mother's house and it was a very good experience. 

The work was done quickly and efficiently, clean up was excellent, and all the paperwork was handled in a clear and upfront way. I was especially pleased at how careful Sharon Moshe was to loop me into the process to ensure that my mother really understood what was happening, when, and what the costs would be.  I thought they handled small changes to the contract and the job in a very professional and fair way.  I really liked that  Sharon pointed out further work that could be done on the house but did not try to pressure my mother to have it done immediately.  

I would definitely be pleased to work with them again because of their professionalism and transparency and respect for my mother as a older client and for me as her agent.

Excellent services, Very knowledgeable,  I had schedule conflicts with a baby that was due to arrive during the time of construction but Sharon (A Cavalier Builders owner) was able to work with our time constraints. They were able to start a week sooner to make sure that they were done before the baby arrived. Sharon was present in every step of the process including meeting me and my wife at the tile store to help us pick out the tile. He shared lots of valuable information. The Job was done on the time they promised and I am 100% satisfied with the job. Their were NO hidden Fees and Sharon was very upfront about potential issues before the job was started. I Definitely would recommend Cavalier Builders as I plan to further use them myself for bigger additions to the house.
