Dane is just a wonderful young man. He is not only conscientious but very caring as well. Dane is very neat and clean. To me this is great as I have had other service people in and they not only left a mess but were unsightly as well. He made many suggestions on how I could block out the light and I ended up choosing blackout pleated shades. When installing these he had to remove the vertical blinds that were in place. I wanted to save them and Dane very patiently wrapped them up and place them in the box the pleateds had come in. He then put the box into the garage for me as well. He also took the time to spackle any holes that were left in the frames before he installed the pleateds. His wife Heather works the office and she was a pleasure to work with also. I highly recommend them if you need window treatments. I certainly won't hesitate to call Dane again when I need other window treatments.

Called quite a few companies to find pleated shades for my little bay window. No one seemed willing or able to install shades that would fit into the small recessed areas of the window. Someone recommended Dane Duross of Budget Blinds in West Hills. Called him up, and he assured me that no problem was impossible and he would come and take a look, so we made an appointment. He showed up on time, looked at the window, took some measurements and said, "hmmm, I think we can do this." Went out to his vehicle and came back with some samples that would fit perfectly. He said the only problem was going to be locating a mounting bracket that was shallow enough and would look good, but he would find one. I placed the order and gave him a check. He said he would call me shortly, and he did. He had found a new type bracket that he thought would work. I said, ok, great. A couple of weeks later, the shades were ready, and he came out and worked for a couple of hours, getting the mounting "just right" and setting the shades "just so." I was thrilled. The new style bracket fit perfectly and looked great. He then looked around, saw that I was remodeling and asked if he could help me with anything and moved a few cartons in the room for me. I asked if he could find a replacement vertical blind for me, as one of the ones on my bedroom window was broken. He looked at it and said he would try to find one for me. I asked what a set of new ones would cost, he looked it up, gave a big discount and said, "these are still going to be expensive." They were. Then he made a suggestion that I try to glue the split in the blind and told me what type of glue would work best. I thanked him, said I would try his suggestion. He thanked me for the sale, said he hoped I was satisfied (I was) and left. I did try his gluing suggestion, and it worked. He called me a week or so later and said that my type vertical blinds had been discontinued, but he would call around to see if any other installers had any or had removed any like mine. I told him I had followed his gluing suggestion and it worked, but I still wanted a couple of extras, just in case. Sure enough, a couple of weeks later, he called me back and said he was unsuccessful in locating any like mine, but would keep an eye out and would call me if he located any. I thought he was wonderful -- prompt, helpful, thoughtful, careful, and he followed up trying to locate extra replacement blinds for me. And, he didn't try to sell me a new set of replacement vertical blinds for the master bedroom. I've told all my friends about him.
