Our lives are on our computers and they have become as necessary as a car or other thing utilized on a daily basis...except some of the most important things in our lives are stored and accomplished on them. Choices for a new computer when...not if...it dies are more complex and confusing than ever before, especially with the abundance of choices available today. I am not a computer expert, yet also not a technophobe. Chris from 1Geek4U REALLY helped in the spec comparisons between potential new computers. The first option I presented to Chris would have been virtually obsolete within a short period of time. After Chris' consultation, I ended up choosing a unit that ended up being 3X better and only slightly more costly! Thank goodness for Chris. The new computer arrived and then it's, "umm, how do I migrate my data again?" I look online and I think I know what to do. Then I think better of it, and ask Chris his advice. Again, my best plan was not so great and Chris sent me in the right direction to accomplish my goals. Am I enjoying myself? No. But at least I have the best new computer I can afford, and I'm on the right path to getting my "life" back on track. I probably should have just paid a bit more and had Chris do everything for me, as I'd be fully functional already (he does everything so much better and faster). 1Geek4U saved me in the past when I had corrupted data (Chris saved it all), was a Godsend in my current situation, and will be the absolute first company I call when the next crash invariably happens. A significantly better experience than what was typical before I found 1Geek4U. Now I just have to get better at backing things up and being more organized...until then, thank goodness for companies like 1Geek4U.

Even though I had a three year contract with Dell for any computer
related issues, I hired Chris because I was completely unhappy with the
performance of my laptop. He arrived promptly and did all the necessary
scans to get my laptop up and running efficiently. He also took the time
to show me tips and new software improve the efficiency of the basic
things that I was doing. He is easy to work with and is very honest and
provides great customer service! I will definitely use him again to tune
up my pc.

Christopher arrived punctually.  He is courteous, honest, professional and knowledgable. He did an excellent job setting up my new PC and tailoring everything to my needs and specifications.  He was also very good at demonstrating and explaining everything, answering all my questions in a way that was easy to understand.  He even printed out instructions for me on how to use backup and safely use the internet.  I am very pleased with his services and glad to have him available.

Whether it be handled onsite or remotely he's always prompt and finds
the problem quickly. Chris is by far the best trouble shooter we've ever
had. He doesn't over charge and doesn't waste time, so don't worry
about the hourly charge. He can usually find and fix things in less time
than most. He is very tidy too. We also subscribe to ongoing
maintenance service which we highly recommend.
