California Chimney Sweep was started in 1984 by Vince McCauley when he started in 1984 he ran the business out of our VW Bus. We have grown into a professional chimney sweeping service with over 30 years experience. For 30 years we have provided superior service to our customers that keeps them coming back. Many of our long-time customers have been with us for over 25 years. We have obtained an "A" Rating on popular consumer review websites, as a result of the many satisfactory reports submitted by the customers we’ve served.

It was good. Patrick showed up on time and made sure everything was cleaned up before he left. The only issues I have are: There was no signage on his truck. And we were talking while I wrote my check. So it was not until after he left, that it dawned on me that I did not get a receipt. I personally feel better when the company I hire has their logo on their trucks and I get a logo, with details of service, on a receipt. Those are the only complaints.

Vince took the explain about chimney and fireplace care. He also gave us great advice on converting to a gas log set and will be back to install after the one we chose is delivered. I feel confident now in our choice after he shared his knowledge. He also reattached our previously misinstalled glass screen.

Tim and Ian arrived within the specified time frame and went right to work. Inspection found some additional items that need to be addressed at a later date and a fair quote was provided for this work. Chimney sweep and cap installation was performed quickly and cleanly. Professional, honest and efficient. I will work with this company again and recommend to my neighbors. I give them 5 stars and a tip of my hat.

Great. The guys called to let us know a Sig alert was delaying them. I had to go pick up my son from school and they were still working, but they finished and closed up the house for me. Reassuring to know you can leave your home while the service tech is still there and have them be so professional!
