Air Pro S Heating AC

During a heat wave our AC unit went out and we called Air pro through a weekly direct mail ad we had as we were not yet Angie's List members. Jim arrived approximately at the time specified, which was the following day we called. I was not at home and left it up to my wife to guide him around, show him the problem and had them call me at work with any questions, findings, estimate etc. Jim seemed agitated that it was very hot [which it was that day] and said he does not work well in the heat. He told me over the phone that the problem is electricity is not getting to the unit because a circuit breaker was bad and needed to be replaced, he quoted $250 to replace it, Jim did say that there is no guarantee that replacing the circuit breaker would solve the problem, but it would have to start there to move forward. I asked if it was 100% positive that the circuit breaker was actually bad because I know how circuit breakers work, and I know there is a way to test if it is bad or not. I was told there is no way to find out until it is replaced, When he called me I was at work and asked if I could call him back in 5 minutes as I had a customer on hold on the phone, Jim became very irritable and said time is money he needs a decision now or he will just charge the $75 service call and I can find someone else to stand in the heat while I put him on hold. He said "you got 2 minutes, "if I don't hear back in 2 minutes I'm leaving" when I called back my wife said he is leaving, he said your 2 minutes were up 10 seconds ago. I should have realized then and there that this is not the person I was to pay for services, but it was a hot and I wanted relief or my family so asked my wife to chase him down ask him to reconsider leaving, which happened. Shortly after I got a call from my wife who said he replaced the circuit breaker, told her that the air conditioner condenser is "fried" and not repairable, she said he was very grump and upset, complaing about the heat, how we made him wait . Note 2 minutes?, C'mon! This cost us $250 and we still didn't have AC . When I got home I noticed that he left the electric panel door open, he had also removed a panel cover on the AC unit and he did not replace it, he left the screws and the panel cover laying on the ground. Our experience with Air Pro was probably thee most unprofessional and disappointing we've ever had. Fortunately we found a great service provider the following day from Angie's List who found that it was a fan motor that was causing the circuit breaker to trip and we did not have to replace the entire system as Jim had told us we'd have to. It's too bad we had to spend $250 that was not necessary. I do not recommend Jim Flores or Air Pro.and would caution anyone else to look elsewhere for AC / heating repair.
