I don't know how Ryan Lovejoy or his firm would have done if they had finished the job. After we hired him we never heard from him again! Ryan interviewed with us, shook hands on a deal with us, told us he'd be by the next week to start and we never heard from him again! We told all our other bids for our job we didn't need them. We sent him all our plans and permits and he was very agreeable and sent us emails for two months about the project. He met our family and gave us time lines for the project and a sewage company he wanted started digging. Then he never came by again, never emailed us back, never returned our calls. We thought he must've been physically hurt or something but no he just acts unprofessional. We are in an awful mess now. I advise anyone who speaks with him to be very careful. He is a liar.

Ryan was great. Good communication and reliable. Did a great job rebuilding our stairs.

The job turned out to be much more complicated once they were able to open up the wall and determine the root cause. They made a recommendation and convinced my neighbor (solution affected him) it was the right thing to do.

Lovejoy Construction is a great company to work with. Top quality work at a fair price. They were on time and on budget. These guys are real professionals. Iâ d give them 10 stars if I could. I will be hiring them again.

Iâ ve worked with many different contractors through the years, some good, some not so good and others that are top notch. Lovejoy Construction falls into the top notch category. It was a multifaceted job due to a flooded section of the house. Carpet, flooring and walls in three rooms need to be removed. At a quick pace, they removed and replaced sub-flooring and walls, repainted walls, had bathroom flooring replaced and the insulation and vapor barrier under the house replaced. Ryan Lovejoy is a great communicator, that kept me informed every step of the way. Ryan as well as his assistants are well mannered, polite and thoughtful. I could not be more pleased with the whole process. Truly thankful I found them and would highly recommend them to anyone.

We hired Lovejoy Construction to do rot repair and a wraparound deck rebuild. Every aspect of the job was spot on. Ryan kept us updated with every aspect of the job. He handled new problems that were revealed during the work without any delays and provided recommendations for other subcontractors. I would not hesitate to hire Lovejoy Construction for future jobs. He did truly excellent work.

if I could give negative stars, I would I was more than disappointed in the work Ryan did AND did not do. women beware!! he is misogynistic and will take advantage. this is a text I rec would from him and it is a direct quote If you feel screwed, do not blame the MAN who wrote the contract. Blame the WOMAN who signed it. That is MY saying. He charged me $8700 for ONE days work that WAS NOT properly done or complete. He was to repair my roof from tree damage, and siding rot so that my home could be painted. he had to come back twice and still did NOT complete the work. then threatened to put a lien on my home if I did NOT pay in full. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM - BEWARE!!! DO NOT USE RYAN LOVEJOY!!

Great contractor who is responsive, professional and does good quality work. They will not likely be your lowest cost contractor, but more than likely are worth it. Iâ m hiring them again, would recommend the same.

Ryan was very personable and a pleasure to work with. He responded in a timely manner and was able to come to the property the next day to work on the issue. Other contractors were saying they would call back with a schedule. I also informed him that the baseboards were poorly installed and asked him to address that. After that was done the baseboards look really nice and tight against the sheetrock and there are no gaps between them and the wall with the caulking that he did. Yes, I would hire Ryan again for other projects.

Ryan and his team were very personable, professional and efficient. Ryan kept us informed as to when each subcontractor would start and finish work. They finished the three month project on time and on budget. The finished bathroom is beautiful and I am happy.

We just completed a 4 month renovation with Ryan and his team and are thrilled with the result. We ended up redoing 3 bathrooms, our kitchen, laundry room, garage, fireplace, and some of the exterior siding - it was a big job! The team and the subcontractors who worked on our house were all very respectful and knowledgeable. We were around the house often they would drop what they were doing to help us unload supplies or fix something we were having an issue with. Ryan himself is very transparent and easy to communicate with. Not all the news we got during our renovation was great (we found some unexpected water damage) but you can trust that Ryan will be honest with you and work on options to get you back on track.

I had an unfortunate experience with Ryan. Originally he seemed very competent, calm and trustworthy, but as the project began he became condescending and rude in his communication with us. Whenever we had concerns about the quality of the work, he insisted that it would cost more and he was never accommodating in any way. Ryan built a small trex deck, small porch, two gates, and a short area of fencing. I rated the quality of his work at 2.5 because 1/2 of it was fine. But the other half was not. It was sloppy and seemed to lack care. The trex was placed snug up to the house siding which even I know is not proper, preventing the water from running off. The bottom of the gate is uneven. Some of the boards were cut too short. One of the holes around a pier under the deck filled with water when it rained. When questioned about areas of obvious poor construction, he said that it is his job to build something that lasts 10 years. I was not planning on needing to rebuild my deck or porch after 10 years because the foundation failed. He said he built what I asked for. I said that he is the contractor and knows how to build properly, (Ryan had previously stated that he prides himself for his quality workmanship). I only told him where I wanted steps, porch, deck etc. It was up to him to build it properly. He said that it would have cost more if I asked him to design it. I now have to hire another contractor to fix several of the areas which I am not happy with. In short, I do not recommend him to do any project you might have in mind. Sorry to have to report this, but I wish someone had been honest in a review so I could have been spared. I seriously doubt I am the first one to have this problem with Ryan.

Ryan Lovejoy and his Assistant Issac where such a lucky find! I explained the scope of what I wanted done and received a bid in a very timely manner. I needed some significant repairs on an older deck, NOT a complete rebuild. Ryan kept me informed of exactly what was needed to accomplish this. And I am delighted with how the project came out. They were ON TIME, they kept the area Clean and Tidy after the days work, always a plus. I would not hesitate to reach out to Lovejoy Construction for any needs in the future.

Our backyard deck was replaced. The quality of workmanship outstanding and completed on time. Ryan and crew delivered excellent customer service - a pleasure to work with!

Ryan came and reinforced my deck for my spa. He called me back immediately which almost never happens, he came to look at the project extremely quickly and he called a few days before to actually confirm he was coming! Props to Ryan and his company I will be calling them again in the future.
