PFS Pool and Spa Service

During the inclement weather we experienced earlier this year (2023), our pool overflowed and flooded our backyard. We discovered that the pool overflow pipe was blocked or broken due to massive roots from nearby Redwoods. As there was no way to replace the pipes, given damage we would cause to the tree by cutting large roots so close to the trunk base, we elected to install a new overflow on the other side of the pool. I searched Angi and was matched with PFS led by Naji the company's founder. Naji visited with his team to do a free consult, and provided a quote the following day - a very reasonable and competitive price. The work was scheduled for the following week, but had to be re-scheduled due to an illness. The team arrived and prepped the area, removing concrete where the new overflow was to be installed. The concrete cuts were precise and extremely neat. Unfortunately during the removal of a stubborn root, one of the pipes leading to the spa was cut. The team immediately informed me of the mishap and called in a repair team (on a weekend!). New spa pipes were installed followed by the new overflow pipe. The team returned on Monday to complete the concrete work. Megail is a true genius with concrete, perfectly matching the existing aggregate. He even used a slightly different product (color and pebble size) to match a small section of overlap with a previous company's mismatched concrete work following a drainage job. Naji, the owner is a fascinating man and a terrific businessman. I thoroughly enjoyed talking to him, and respected the way he oversaw the job from beginning to end. I would highly recommend him and PFC to anyone needing pool repairs. I will also add that Angi is a great platform! The match to a pro was perfect, navigating the site was simple and efficient, the follow-up was first class. I will only use Angi from now on - no more Yelp or Nextdoor.

Cannot recommend more highly! My pool heater went out the morning we were hosting my 9-year old daughter’s birthday pool party. Naji arrived within an hour of contacting him, found that the issue was only a loose wire, and charged me only a home visit fee - on a Saturday! Everyone else that I reached over the phone wanted to schedule weeks out and recommended replacing the equipment. I’m so pleased, I will look for more work to send his way!!

Can't rate value for money, since they haven't done the work yet and didn't send invoice. But so far, the technician was very nice and professional.

Very happy with service. They came out inspected my pool leak and repaired a crack. That didn't do the trick unfortunately so they returned the next day and found a leaking pipe. That was fixed and we're all-set. Very happy with quick response, great communication and reasonable pricing.

The initial project was terrific but additional services subsequently resulted in a new leak (verified by In-Depth Leak Detectives at additional cost) for our pool. I guess they have no warranty because my requests for them to fix their shoddy workmanship have gone unanswered and have been ignored. HELP!!

Fast, fixed the problem for a great rate. Offered additional services that we needed for a good price. They even followed up on a weekend.

Only bid that I had as other contractors supplied by HomeAdvisors did not reply or did not follow up. Naji did replace the broken pool pipe connecting a PVC to a Copper pipe top the pool heater. I thought their price was really high for 4 hours of work. I had no choice as I had been waiting for about a week and the leak seemed to be getting worse. Next time, I will call more contractors to get at least three bids.

I had a great experience replacing a broken pool pump. Naji was the only person who I called that answered the phone without me having to leave a message or in some cases multiple messages. Right from the beginning he was great at answering my many questions. To spite having a family situation that required him to leave town for a quick visit, he made time to come give an estimate on a Saturday. Even when he was out of town, he stayed in touch and continued to answer all my questions. When he returned he made sure I was given the first available install window and when that didn't work out, he came and did the install again on Saturday. The install was quick, well done, and he was patient with my questions about the new pump software setup. He made it clear I could call him anytime with questions and concerns and I have no doubt he would respond back. Can't recommend him enough. Out of the many people I contracted for bids, he and one other person was the only people worthy of the job, and Naji came in with a better price and being more flexible to work around my schedule. Also, it should be noted he gave me an install window of 10:30am-11am, and was on time in that window. That is a rare event for any service person. Fully recommend him for repairs or pool maintenance.

Naji was so great to work with and did a great job replacing my pool skimmer, sweep, repairing tile, and replacing the Decko-seal around the pool. He explained the jobs to me and gave me a very reasonable price. He took great care to do the job right and went above and beyond in getting my pool back to being usable. I have since hired him (Carlos, also great) for my weekly pool service and have used him to do some additional work on the pool.

The owner is available for emergency service calls and really works hard to be timely and thorough. I really trust what he says!!
