They were pro,s. never had a fuller inspection on my house before!

The inspecrionwent well. The inspector was thorough and explained in an easily understandable way what was wrong with the home ansd explained that the detailed inspection report would be sent by email.

We definitely liked the professionalism of National Building Inspectors. They came before the scheduled time. Everyone at the office who answered the phone were very responsive, very polite, and helpful. They obviously knew what they were doing and their report was extremely detailed. We loved it.

NBI has been an exceptional partner in the home selling process. They were highly recommended by our realtor, Pacific Century/Dan Berman. From beginning to present, they have been up front, punctual, thorough, professional. Unlike a distressing number of "inspectors", they are not out to generate unnecessary work. They are up to date on local codes (tough to do in a place like San Francisco Bay Area 9 counties and 100+ cities not to mention California itself). The reports and recommendations are clear. They have gone above and beyond in responsiveness - Yes, they are tough to please - but they are also helpful in timely signoff once the work is done correctly. They are also aware of the games other contractors can play - especially with Section 100 issues. Because of this, they've saved us thousands.
Note - we have a pest control warranty through another pest control company - who has indeed done great work for us - and who works well with NBI as well as doing their own signoffs. In this way, we felt comfortable with quality control and lessening any conflict of interest. They are working well together. We're able to use both in combination to show what really does need attention and what is either non existent, created, or fixable for a fraction of the other contractor's estimate. Like I said, they make a great part of the team that any smooth selling or buying transaction requires.
At this point, we're more than satisfied - highly recommend this company.

NBI is an extremely professional service that does outstanding work. Robert Swickard, who is the actual owner of the company came out to do the inspection. He was ten minutes early and spent a little over two hours in the house going over everything. He caught a number of things that we never would have noticed.He even went into how to maintain the house for the future, like telling us not to have grass by the house to prevent mold and how high the dirt level can be. I know its a little more than most house inspectors but its worth it!!

We were considering buying a new home and hired NBI to do a pest inspection of the house. John Lax was excellent; very detailed, happy to do his job, very attentive, the report was very well done. We felt we got a very clear picture of the condition of the house.

It's the best company in the business. The price depends on the client. Sometimes they just want it for their home or for the termites. It's about $550 for home and termite inspection. The inspector checks the foundation and they check everything including electrical. They crawl underneath the house. They check the roof and the chimneys. They check the plumbing and make sure nothing is leaking. I love them.
